Fit bhaai, wonderful video ! I would like to share my experiences and add few points. ☺️ 1. Capsicum : it will show light orange or light red colour when it starts to overripe. Green chillies, too, show such characteristic property. Finally, they become fully light orange, light red or red in colour and shrink in size ( during over ripening process, if large percentage of water is lost, green chillies become exactly like dry red chilli ). When green capsicum or green chillies start showing light orange or light red patches because of over ripening, it is a direct indication that they are now more spicier. Use them carefully because now they are not medium spicy. Don't touch their seeds with bare fingers ; the burning sensation won't go easily. 2. Cabbage : if it's rotten from inside, will definitely release a very foul odour. Cabbage contains high percentage of water, so rotten cabbage will leak if it is picked up ; depending on how much it has rotten. 3. Brinjal : if it's fresh, it has approximately 90+% water (by weight) in it. Fresh brinjal will not show needle-tip-thin tiny holes over its purple surface, its surface will not show wrinkles along the longitudinal, it will feel completely hollow from within, and the stem will be very soft. Tiny black colour spots indicate chances of infestation within the brinjal. However, if you need to buy slightly old brinjal, that's fine too. You just need to ensure that the stem is not brown in colour, the purple surface has no black lines and wrinkles, and the bottom is still close to white colour ; it should not be yellow. Fresh brinjals will have a slightly sweet taste and have a soft, watery texture. Old brinjals will get cooked in oil and water, but they will taste much bitter.
Meus agradecimentos do Brasil.
I like your videos however, I would like to clarify that for cabbage, you said it should be heavy for its size.. No, its the opposite.. Cabbage should be very light for its size. Remember cabbage is a leaf so it should be light ...if it is heavy it means that the middle stem portion has grown much and you are feeling the weight of it.. Check next time when you buy!
U r the right person to ask one question. Palak is rich with iron and paneer is rich with calcium. How come the combination of these two is good for health? Normally doctor say if you take iron tablet the don't take calcium tablet immediately. Rather keep a gap of breakfast and lunch. Then how come palak and paneer is a good combination?
Pls cover more fruits and vegetables.....this video is vry vry helpful for everyone Also recommend a good shampoo for winter dandruff.....it causes every year
1:26: A ripe apple should be firm, heavy, and have a brown stem. 2:23: Capsicum with four lobes is sweeter in taste, while capsicum with three lobes is more bitter. 3:01: Greener cabbage is higher in chlorophyll. 5:48: Choose sturdy and thin medium-sized carrots. 6:20: Check for worms and discoloration in cauliflower. 6:56: Pick lighter purplish brinjal and press to check its perfectness. We see your efforts in each video and appreciate a lot. This video on veggie buy is very basic but not passed to next generation usually. Please keep this coming may be on groceries too.💞
One farmer told me , they spray chemicals in farm to produce speedy and more quantity of vegitable which they sell in vegitable market . They grow seperate vegitable for their self use which are without chemicals.
Worms are good follow the japenese method for cauliflower and broccoli you mentioned pesticides for sweet potatoes not the other veggies?. cabbage heavy means it has more water content (there are varities) and they cook for longer than light weight ones which are more for salads tends to be leafy 😊
Thank you again for this knowledgeable video. God gives you more strength, happiness and keeps you always fit and you always give us such a fit knowledge ☺️.. please make a video on protein x is this useful for us or not
I don’t understand one thing here. Harmful chemicals kills the microbes in the yield. If you grow veggies or fruits at your home you know some vegetables are prone to get these worms unless you use chemicals to kill them which is not good for health. My issue is why promote on wormless, colourful produce which could be adulterated for the same reasons. What I usually do and my mom does is we buy veggies and fruits locally and store them not more than 3 days. Before we cooked, we wash them completely. And cook the veggies properly. Even with fruit don’t store it more than 3 days. Fruits and veggies are perishable and we need to understand them. This video creates just a reason to use colours and harmful pesticides
It’s high time to expose so called paediatric nutritional and dietary supplements. Moreover also we want to hear Ayurvedic replacements for above ones and recipes for the little ones. Loads of love. Keep Flourishing. : )
I was eagerly waiting for this topic. Loved the video. Friday is Fit Tuber day.😁😁 Can you review Keya Seth's products ? Is it organic or not? Reply if possible.
Very good information. But what about food waste? If something is not perfect and sold with discount to avoid waste. Or if we have bought it allready and now its less fresh.

Sir I would really appreciate a video on VARICOSE VEINS. More than 10 million cases are reported per year in India. My grandmother is suffering from it. Its heart wrenching to watch her in pain whenever she sits or stands up. She as almost tried all types of medicines but I think that there must be a solution to the problem. I will be obliged if you make a video about it with the help of our ancient Vedas. I am sure it would help masses. Thanks.
Namaskar vivekji, plz do video on how get normal and cure from "ENLARGE SPLEEN", so many anemic patients suffering with this disease and there is no cure in allopathic. So this is my humble request 🙏🏻.
Washing veggies and fruits in baking soda and water will get rid of the wax. The wax is to keep the product fresh and is made from palm/veggie oil. If your veggies and fruits are smooth and slippery when you run your fingers on it, chances are they're coated with wax. So, soak them in baking soda and water mixture, and then clean them individually. You feel the smoothness goes away when you rinse it.
