If Air Arcade is a schizophrenic clusterfuck, then Air Realistic is a calculated dance of positioning that people turn into a clusterfuck anyway. Kinda funny how many players at TT still just don't know how to BVR at all. And then they wonder why a missile I shot from 40km+ just slapped them in the face.
I didn't realize your whole air-ab vs air-rb thing was an inside joke at first and went "wait ab is actually harder? Let me try!" and proceeded to seal club tf out of everyone there. Felt like a huge asshole lol.
I’m not going to argue that arcade is more hectic, but clearly you have never been in a RB furball, where both teams are full of F-16s kitted both 9 Ms, they have realized that the best way to get kills is to randomly spam missiles at anyone who looks even remotely within range.

At least for tech grinds- realistic is so much faster. You could finish majority of tech tree excluding bombs of top jets in 1 day with mediocre record while in arcade, you need like 10-15 kills a game to have similar grind 😂 if you wanna grind tech- Go RB / if you need Silver lions, go Arcade 👍
I love your roasting of Air RB, I always felt this way when I played Arcade and all the videos and comments therein were saying how arcade is just for starting out. I agree with this even though I myself do prefer playing realistic with my early (missleless) jets.
1:30 technically that should be πr^3 since you need to watch up and down as well which turns it from a 1.76:50.4 ratio to a 1.34:201 ratio of area needed to watch
Ah, but enemies would not be evenly distributed throughout the sphere. For example, a large but varying proportion of the sphere (often close to half) intercepts with the ground. You don't need to check under the map. So, I went with a circle. As I said, it was a simplification 😀 It gets the core concepts across in a way that is remotely understandable.
I mean I started realistic when I got to jets not because I liked it more or did better in fact I did much worse but I got a games in a minute instead of 30 minutes
Most of them were with my MiG-21S. It's possible for that plane to take over a match and become an invincible killing machine. People get upset when I do that to them.
