Today in this video I will tell you how can you restore or backup your whatsapp data whether that new or old you can easily recover data without google drive. Thanks for this video; it worked! Some extra tips are that if your external device is actually your desktop, and your Images folder is really big and has a ton of pictures, it may be easier to use .zip files to transfer to and from. Hope this helps someone

This is the tutorial that i really needed. I have different conditions where the files are stored in storage/0/Android/media/com.whatsapp/Whatsapp with cannot create folder permission. So i have to copy the entire Whatsapp folder from the previous phone. Then, it works

@@budiman4395 hi i experiencing the same things with you, after i do 'clear data' it's deletes 3 folders, but luckily i can restore succesfully. so, you have to copy folder "whatsapp" (that contain 3 folders) into internal->whatsapp (this is the same folder that empty at first) after clear data. then, start ur whatsapp and the local backup will found out. hope it helps!! Hey there important message: if Google drive back appears only => put on flight modus, at the prompt, before you are asked to restore from Google. This way it gets a timeout and it looks for local backup. THERE IS NO NEED TO DISCONNECT FROM GOOGLE AC OUT AT ALL. cheers.

You might want to restore the backup but perhaps those chats or media files that you want to restore might not be there. Because when your backup is detected all its data is restored.

Yes, you can restore your chats and backup with a new number as long as the Google Drive account is the same. Simply reinstall WhatsApp, verify your new number, and follow the prompts to restore from Google Drive. However, you may not be able to restore chats if you're trying to use a different number on a new phone

Go to file manager and look for Whatsapp folder. Check if you have backup files there. If backup files are still available there, you can easily restore your all chats and media files without GDrive

Backup files remain there until you reinstall the app. You must have backup files to restore deleted data

By avoid the mobile factory reset Now can I proceed like that a After moved the required data and backup to other folder and avoid the Factory reset. 1- unistall whatsapp. 2 -reinstall whatsapp and skip the backup 3- open whatsapp and backup to local storages. 4- go to whatsapp folder and clear the files in media, databases and backup. 5- then going to setting ... whtsapp then clear all data. 6- go to fild manger and copy sll the files of media. i have 3 folder that but unabled to restore chat, only media, the alert is "unabled to restored your chats from this backup. Do You want to restore your chats from an older backup" and i tried restore with google drive the alert is "Sorry, we were unable to restore any of your message history backups"... can u find the solution ? i have bounty for this... thanks

I have taken the backup on my drive but when i factory reset my phone and install the whatsapp again it shows no backup available and I am unable to recover my data can anyone help me please. My urgent data is lost now.

First, log in to your mobile with the Gmail account in which you had backed up your WhatsApp chats. After logging in, install WhatsApp and restore the data

I have done all the step, everything seem correct in last it also shows back-up found and gets backupped. Then when i started my watsapp i didn't found any chat. May be due to my previous account is of fm watsapp?
