If you just bagged it, then redo it. If it has been in a while, get it in a very warm environment, but not in direct sun - like a greenhouse, garage, covered patio cement floor, etc. - to dry out.
Karen Michaels Yes coir. You can usually get it at hydroponics stores or pet stores in the reptile department. If you can't find it, then cactus soil will work. And yes either pumice or perlite is fine. Here is the complete bag rooting tutorial: www.socalplumeriasociety.com/resources/articles/bagrooting.html
Mid or center cuts take much longer to root. They will usually sprout new branches before roots. Treat them just like other branches with tips when you root them.
@@mikeyuneek someone else said no to touch it and don't water it I wish I could take a picture for you someone else told me today that I should go and just leave it on with a humidifier and not to water it now it has roots cause it's the original plumeris stock but I was just worried it would never have enough water to sprout roots, on the second question though would you recommend cuz I have two cuttings because the original plant got root rot thru a stem should I route the cuttings I got off of it in water first or do it the dry way? With root hormone?
@@philantemalone9675 water is not needed in the rooting process. Hormone is not either. Check out my full rooting instructions here: atkinsonplumeria.com/plumeria-rooting-instructions/
@@mikeyuneek how long will my center cut that has no leaves like imagine I looked the top half off how long top take to sprout a new tip section because it already has roots
It should send out new branches soon. However if you're in the Western region of the world then they are about to go dormant. So this won't happen until probably next summer.
