3 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder( or baking soda) 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 & 1/2 sticks of butter , 1 tablespoon of vanilla abstract, 1 cup of milk( or water). This is the bases of every cake from here you can add other flavors by using powders, fruits, nuts, candy, or abstracts. If you feel your cake is too watery add flour if you feel you cake is too thick add milk. Cakes and cupcakes are smooth and fluffy, brownies are smooth and semi thick, & cookies are thick.
