Finally! Baking my Handmade Terracotta Jewellery 😍🤌
.
There are other methods of baking too. But today, I’ll show you Oxidation Firing Baking method. Steps for this methods are as follows:
1 - Take a clay pot and make so many holes inside it so that oxygen will pass through it.
2 - Add your small beads and earrings first and then add all your large terracotta jewellery pieces.
3 - Place it over the gas stove, keep the flame very low in the beginning.
4 - Keep it for 45 minutes on low flame.
5 - After 45 minutes, keep the flame to medium and keep that for 45 minutes again.
6 - After that, keep the flame to high and add coal inside it. Coal will start burning in 20 minutes.
7 - Once coal will start burning little bit, turn off the gas and keep it for burning the coal itself.
8 - After 2-3 hours your Earings will cool down and perfectly baked!
