You know the light turns off when your oven has reached the required temperature and is signaling you that it is the correct temperature to put your baking dish in, then it turns on again when the oven door is opened and loses heat or drops below your required heat so try to limit how long the door is open when putting your baking dish in. The light is controlled by the thermostat.

My oven light is off and my cake is baking what do i do??

@@ngangaelizah740 That's totally normal , when the light is on that is to tell you that the oven hasn't reached the temperature you have set. When the light goes off that means you oven is now at the correct temperature to cook your dish. You may notice the light will come on if you open the door, that is to tell you the required temperature has dropped as some heat escapes every time the oven is opened while cooking. Hope that helps😀

I have the same cooker like your's I tried to bake Recently and it happened to go off I thought my bread was ready . I removed my bread fast but it just got spoiled it wasn't ready at all. But know I thank you for letting me know it's normal just like a fridge. Thanks a lot.

You are heaven sent,when baking a cake do I need to select both lower and upper grill, or heat from the bottom only

Select both. It works for me with my oven and maintain 180°

Thanks for the information.. Hajui vile umesaidia So many people struggle on how to use an oven..especially on that part of light turning on and off l used to think the light should be on until the cake is done l kept on turning on all the time. Until l learnt it from somewhere.. God bless.

that outlet below is used to protect the cable from heat....it's called a connector. Plus if the red socket is bad due to power, then there's a short circuit or problem with either the cooker, cable or Cb.

Are those switches supposed to be switched on all of them at the same time?

@@maxigirlfashionstyles5812 Depends on how the socket is made. Like in this case it can but IMO not advisable. Red switch for the cooker & the other one can be used for say water heater or something. Design-wise, outlet should support both cooker & socket load.

Mine is Electric Toaster Oven,to what degree will I preheat my oven ,a vanilla flavoured cake ,I want it very golden brown,will it be heat from the bottom alone ,or both top and bottom and also to what degree should I bake even though my oven manual says 150°C

Hey, you so much welcome. So I think you gonna have to put an external thermometer. Just buy one that is oven friendly and use it to measure the oven temperature before putting something
