HOW TO: BANTU KNOTS | PROTECTIVE STYLE | Imani Tierra

In today’s video I’ll be showing you how I achieve this bantu knot protective style using braiding hair. I was inspired by Chev B. here on RU-vid. I started off with my hair freshly washed, conditioned and blow dried. // WHAT I USED :
Pre stretched braiding hair (VERY IMPORTANT as the tapered ends help to tuck and not use hair pins, I used Spetra 26” In the color 1B)
Jamaican black castor oil
Shine ‘n jam (I used the orange container, any will work)
Just For Me Hair Milk leave In conditioner
Rubber bands
Got2bGlued spiking gel (yellow tube)
Rat/metal tail comb
Bristle brush
Edge/detail brush
Hair jewels are optional (I didn’thave any)
