our fav band from Nebraska is Blue House with the Rent to Own Horns. Joe and the boys do our theme song, Barbecue Shoes... Check out their CD, Shake Your Butt.....great music for your Pit. Now go get your barbecue shoes on..!.- BBQ Pit Boys
food cans have been made this way for over 50 years. The canning process requires much higher temps then we use here. Beer can chicken, with the same lined cans, has not as yet produced a generation of zombies, as far as we know. If this method worries you, then choose a bean vessel of your choice to shove up the chicken..! We call that Pitmasters privilege..! -BBQ Pit Boys
Hi from Sweden. Made this one yesterday. Me and my kids really really enjoyed it. I did put some chips along with it to. And, I saved the beer for myself :)
you can wonder all you want, or you can read the thread below for answers..! If you're a Vegematic or don't like chicken, then it's dangerous..! -BBQ Pit Boys
hell yes...! Especially the beans. Unless these bean boys want to pay us some "beans", we're not giving them a plug. Nothing wrong with that.....keeps the BPB show going. Hear that B&M, Bush's, Van Camp, and Heinz..? Throw us some beans.. ;) -BBQ Pit Boys
...and that boy of yours has a great father! -teaching him that the BBQ Pit Boys brotherhood is important in living the good life. Family, good friends and, of course, good BBQ is what it's all about. (but be sure to always tell your momma that you like her casserole) ;) -BBQ Pit Boys
I'd still eat bean can chicken, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even if it does mean I turn into a zombie! Keep showcasing all your amazing recipes dudes!
in Texas growing up we used to cook chicken in a can of ranch style beans it was very tasty some people cooked the chicken with the can closed and have to let the can cool before opening i like the can to be open so the juice goes in the can of ranch style beans the taste is amazing
the can never gets above 200f...can is processed at a much higher temp.....but if it worries ya, pour the beans in a vessel that works for you. -BBQ Pit Boys
My 7 year old says he wants to become a Pitmaster like you. He loves watching your videos, getting educated... and hungry. Haha Now I gotta go feed him. We both love your videos!
Come on man! You watching BBQ and don't know what Molasses is??! Its a viscous by-product of the refining of sugarcane, grapes, or sugar beets into sugar. Its black sticky and GUUUD.
Prepared this time just ate. Haha. HEB has a boracho bean made with shiner bock. Im totally doing this with boracho beans. Saves more beer for the pitmaster. Ooh yeah.
I came to your channel just to say this...your videos are awesome but I hate your ads it's 11 clock almost and now I'm hungry because how good your food look......hope you're happy
Seems very yummy but what about the special varnish inside the cans: does it change the beans taste?furthermore, it has been said to be bad for health because it might contain something called "bisphenol A" (the same which made babies' plastic bottles taken away from selling in Europe). I don't know more about this topic but it's a real concern. What could replace the cans used in this video? I'd like so much to make this dish to my family and friends!
I've been a fan or quite a while and this recipe "Smells Good!" Gonna give this a try on the "Hobo Stove". Yeah I try to do my own cooking show from time to time. Keep those coals hot and the beer cold!
Awesome recipe! For those that are freaked out by cans. You can find stainless steel cups about the size of a beer can from several places on the net. I've been using mine for years. Keep on grillin Professor! It's GUUUUUUDD!
