In his heart/ mind he wanted worship, lusted/ coveted Jesus'/ God's position as king, priest and God. To take away God's position! To destroy God! A king destroy another king to take over his kingdom. Revelation 12:7 - there was war in heaven. A war of thoughts and words! The Lucifer/ devil wanted to destroy the constitution of a country that was good- what the inhabitants believed/ words. By changing or incorporating his thoughts/words so that he could usurp the kingdom that was/is good. However, he prevailed NOT. Revelation 13:8 (Speaking of Jesus) the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. How can Jesus be slain from the foundation or at the beginning of the world? Because, Ephesians 1: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: ---- God chose us (He thought to die for us) God through Jesus lived/s by the principles he thought us. Think in his heart so is he. Mind then feet follow/will do. Hebrews 2: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Lucifer/devil thought to destroy, murderer Jesus from the beginning. God/Jesus, knows the thoughts of all, he thought to die, he laid down his life and took it up again. So, Jesus lives, He, God is Resurrection and Life. Question to Elder Skeete, I've listened to a few of your sermons and shared them with others, I have a question for you, is there a reason that you asks if there are any SDA in the audience and why does it matter to the visitor or me the listener. I want to know if it matters if you are a SDA or not. I love your teaching very much, but I just don't understand that part of your opening comments and sometimes throughout your sermon. To me it's all about Yeshua and Him crucified and not what religion you belong to. James tells us what is true religion.
It is so that he knows where or how to pitch the sermon..normally he likes to acknowledge non-sdas in a special way so it is not intended to make you feel less but rather to appreciate you more. Sometimes he even prays and asks for a special blessing on non-sdas God bless

The SDA doctrine is absolutely by the word which includes obeying ALL God says such as ALL 10 Commandments. All other church does not believe this and they also interpret the Bible in an inaccurate manner (no disrespect) such as, Commandments nailed to cross, no need to stop sinning only need to believe etc. As such I think He wants to ensure he explains and stress certain points with a view to win another soul to obedience for God's kingdom 🙏
