Maybe it's because I'm kind of boujee, but I'm soooooo happy that girls are starting to raise their standards on the guys they date. I'm only 18, but from my experience with guys, the more you expect from them, the more they "level up" which is great. I grew up in the 50's. My mother was always well put together and she was a fashionista. She passed this on to me. In the 70's I was pulled into feminism, which had its liberating qualities for women, but which also was the death nell to feminine women in the USA. Its taken me many years to regain my feminine essence. I was always very feminine, so i did not go for a career, and I was happy to be a homemaker. My man worked for me. But the downside is I argued with him and put him down, and that he became more feminine. Now, as an older woman, I am confident as a Queen...a high maintenance woman.

My dad's idea of 'caring' is to call max twice a year, better even , send a message that calling is too expensive. Yet he went to work abroad to build a half-house for his new family and my half-sister. He even forgot my birthday. You know... I am old with my own family but it's still hurts. Ummm I do not agree with the “let him do what he wants with the other girls while he gets to know you” theory. Maybe I’m not connecting the dots properly but if I’m getting to know a guy and find out he’s still sleeping with other women, that’s a wrap. That just tells me that he’s liable to cheat when things get serious.

Hey Asha! I am pretty feminine but I am working on being more feminine. This may sound weird but I recently met a group of guys and shook their hands, It felt so masculine. What is a more feminine way of greeting without invading personal space and not coming off as stand off-ish? Enjoyed the video.
I don't know if it's because I'm not a very touchy person but I would just say that a firm yet feminine handshake and a friendly look is enough if you're greeting a group of guys you may not be acquainted or comfortable with. Don't aggressively shake their hands or have a resting b*tch face. If you're comfortable enough then a gentle side hug or full on hug (if you're THAT comfortable with him) would work just fine. Just act comfortable and friendly with the handshake and I'm sure they won't think you're masculine or give off masculine energy.
