Can you guess? 1. This country is an archipelago consisting of thousands of islands. 2. Its capital city is Manila. 3. The national language is Tagalog, and English is also widely spoken. What's your answer?
Hi, may I ask if an individual is still eligible to apply even though he/she is not currently connected to any type of company? But that individual has already 4 years of teaching experience here in the Philippines (subject taught in English language) but not in the field of English subject. I am hoping for your feedback. Thank you very much.

Hi Sir. May I know if they allow Filipino ALT who has multiple ear piercings. I have three pairs but ofcourse I will just use one pair incase i'll get hired.
Thank you po for responding Mr. Jo. Your videos are helpful. I watched some of it. 😊 Subscribed na din po ako.
@@nyebe799 oh thank Marlyn! Good luck and see you here in Japan soon! 👍 Thanks for subscribing!
Happy Teacher's Day po Sir! I'm currently taking BSEd in Social Studies, planning to become a lawyer po after saving money. Happy Teacher's Day po ulit!
Oh teacher’s day pala! Thank you Chelsea ❤️. Oh! Opo, okay lang po as long as 4 year course and may diploma and mapasa mo english exam nila ang interview. Good luck sayo and see you soon here in Japan!
@@JoCaballes hehe salamat po! Maybe 4-5 years from now nand'yan na rin ako. Sana🙏🙏🙏. Sa ngayon po focus muna sa studies. Gonna subscribe din po in your channel, will definitely watch your future uploads❤️❤️
Hello, I'm not a native English speaker and I also don't fulfill the requirement of 14 years of study with English as a medium of instruction,I have only 5 years of study using English as medium of instruction. My graduation subject was English majoring linguistics, currently I'm completing my masters. Is it legally possible for me to get hired as an ALT?
Hi Nimsara! Thank you for commenting, I am so glad to hear that I was able to give you information/s about being an ALT here in Japan. If you have questions in your mind, you can tell it here and maybe I can make a video out of it. Thanks again!
@@nimsarapadmasiri They hire people from all over the world as long as you acquire all the necessary requirements and qualifications. I can see lots of Sri Lankan here bro. Actually some people ask me if I’m Sri Lankan 😊.
Hello John! Thank you sa comment sir!
Looking good sensei! ✨ Can you make a video about what are the possible questions in the job interview and how to answer it? It’ll be very helpful. Arigatou!
Hi, Sir! Just for clarification, is it also needed to show my elementary and high school diploma. Or are they going to consider the college diploma? Thank you for the response.
Sensei pano po iprocess yung official letter from schools sa pinas na may 12 years of education ka where English was the main language of instruction. May requiremnts po ba kayong ganito?
Hello po, thanks for commenting! Grad certiicate from elem- college (4 yr bachelor)
Hello po, para po sa elementary and high school na proof of English as medium of instruction po need po ba original copy from school pag ni request po or scan lang okay na as long na May stamp po ng school? At paano po if transferee po ako nung high school, need ko po ba mag request sa dalawang school? Thank you
@@JoCaballes thanks for noticing, nag subscribe na po ako 😊 So okay lang po yung TOR ko nung college at di na po need ng elementary and high school proof of English as a medium language?
Hello po! New Subscriber here Sa tingin niyo po high chance ang matanggap ako as an english or social science teacher sa japan? Highschool ko po ay from Science School ako and I am Currently Studying in the University of the Philippines. Mas okay po ba na pumunta as a tourist kaysa sa mga agencies here? Thank you po 🥰
To be honest mas mataas chance mo po sa English teacher yata. Kasi in need sila.may mga teacher kasi sila sa science na mga japanese po, pero… if mag aaral ka nang japanese , in a high level maybe you can be a social sci teacher :) If gusto nyo po talaga science.Of course you could reach that if you do your best :) Sina suggest po nila yan ang mag tourist muna po.
Hello sensei! Your tips and explanations were very clear !Thank you so much! Introducing me,I am a Sri Lankan.I am reading for my masters degree in Education (TESL) - most probably I would finish it by this August . I have passed N2 as well. Sensei, where should I start with? @@JoCaballes Thank you so much sir! Hehe. I am watching your RU-vid videos right now. And I am also from Davao Region.. And graduated already with Bachelor's degree major in English. And I want to acquire a teaching position in Japan, just like you did sir.😁
Hi, my interest was piqued up when you mentioned about your journey from being a student to being a teacher. Are you able to show how you did. I also want to teach in Japan as I married a Japanese national however we are both based here in Dubai.
I love this video so much. I'm so glad it's fine to have tattoos and piercings as long as they're covered. Thanks for sharing this, Sensei! I don't know if this has been asked already, so I'll just ask it. I'm still a freshman, and I plan to be an ALT in Japan in the future. Can I apply as soon as I graduate? Thank you in advance for your answer!
Hello Yuya! Thank you for commenting! Yeah , as long as your tattoo is not on areas where it is expose such hands, neck etc… As soon as you graduate , please try applying!
