Here's a virtuoso trick that I chanced upon: One day I was cleaning the neck and strings with soapy water, and I noticed how slippery the strings were. So I began to play with the strings soapy and wet, and surprise, I could slide my fingers quickly up and down the neck without burning my fingers. Joyous! I thus expanded my artistic possibilities to realms unexplored...

Great stuff! The Motivic Development part is especially well done! It forces you to make the most out of the most minimal ingredients. Ghost notes are also great for Hard Rock and Metal (I use them the same way a guitar player would use palm-muting).
