Gwyn in this run walked into the Gwyn Group Therapy session with his fellow Gwyns looking like he was having Vietnam flashbacks. Gwyn: Hey, buddy, you look like hell. Was it another parry/riposter? Gwyn: Yeah. Gwyn: Dude, I know, they always do that. Gwyn: It wasn't just that. He kept firing at me! Another Gwyn, looking really beat up, chimes in. Gwyn: Aw, dude, I know. Those damn fools using cheat engine to hack in guns! Gwyn: No, she was definitely vanilla... The other Gwyns: ...? Gwyn: And she was SL1... fire, all I could see was fire... Gwyn: Yeah, we're like the Lord of Cinder, fire is our thing. Gwyn, looking terrified: It was like napalm... Black smoke, black flame everywhere... Black Flame everywhere... I couldn't do anything... The Gwyn Collective freaks out. The meeting was rescheduled for the following week due to the Gwyns having collective PTSD.

Wow. All the tips and tricks here are useful not just for this run, but for other more "normal" runs. Super useful video, definitely will be exploring it further

At 23:15 or so, when you get that "Purple Moss out of nothing", it means that one of the Toxic Blowdart Guys (I don't know their actual name) has most definitely fallen to their death. Whenever one of those Toxic Blowdart Guys dies, you are at LEAST guaranteed a Purple Moss drop (which automatically goes into your inventory), but you can also potentially get a Blooming Purple Moss from them as well (which will also be automatically put in your inventory). So yeah, you didn't get a Purple Moss out of nothing. One of the guys that shoots the toxic blowdarts died. Oh, and any killed Toxic Blowdart Guy stays dead permanently until the next cycle.

to kill easily the channeler: use a bow from downstair where the firekeeper soul is even if you don't have the level. But IMPORTANT just make headshots.... If you do only headshots the Channeler will never counter attack and only wait for death.

I watched one of your Dark Souls 2 videos the other day and I quite enjoyed it. I clicked on this video, watched the beginning, and then once you started talking I realized who's video I was watching and I immediately subscribed. You got me with the Mentos commercial.

Finally watched it all (been watching in shifts) and this is one of the best Dark Souls videos out there.

14:00 the game doesn't actually keep track of which mimics you've killed so far to give you a garunteed drop on the last one, it just keeps track of how many times a mimic head has been rolled for. It takes 7 rolls for the garunteed drop (seven mimics in the game), so by using 4 talismans and killing 3 mimics, the drop is garunteed.

Just got into dark souls, and started watching. The edits are fucking hilarious, and the information is perfect.

At this point I'm literally not watching the videos because they are exceedingly good guides for challenge runs (something which I doubt I'll do...most probably not on Souls games, maybe on Bloodborne or Sekiro), but more for the memes and the dry jokes everywhere in this video. You can use Covetous Gold Serpent Ring from Sen's Fortress to be more sure with finding Symbol of Avarice. And humanities ofc. Dodging Nito's sword-from-underground is even easier: just block while 2-handed. It changes characters hitbox, so this attack will miss you. I think to prevent Nito's stuck, you may want to go slightly to the left after entering the arena, not to the rigth. P.S. SIf is a wolf, not some miyazaki dog :D
