I don't always wear perfumes but people tell me very often that I smell nice. I take a bath or shower and thoroughly cleanse myself every day. I also remove or trim unwanted body hair. After bath, I always use a good moisturizer with a good scent. I also apply a light scented hair oil ( jasmine is the best) If I do use a perfume, I usually go for rose or jasmine. The latter always gets me compliments and I even find people drawing their chairs close to me. Another important thing which people generally overlook is brushing your teeth. There is nothing more offputting than a bad oral odour. I brush my teeth after every meal and before I go out. I speak my mind wherever I am and sense of humour is my best value. My weakness - not being assertive enough! please share your ideas and thoughs too. 🙏

Boy do I understand you. It is a challenge for sure. I have completed almost 2 years of widowhood. I dont talk about him....I still must cant,,and Im a professor of psychology. My feelings are too private. Alot of the new women I am meeting had slightly bad to terrible relationships with men....they are so different from me. I coukd not continie socializing with our married couole friends...I jst dont fit in with tuat group. When I see the women some of mymold female friemds say I look so happy (weight loss due to grief and without HIM to cook for)...some are kbvioisly envious saying I look sp much younger. ome couple I ve known for 20 yrs walked up to me in the park sitting talking with others....she. Said her husband had told her THAT wasnt me cluldnt be me because I look too young to be me. I know she thought it was a compliment it wasnt I wntd to say you should see the bruises and chunks missing from my heart...I feel 110. I am putting more effort into how I dress to cheer myself up...this was NOT necessary or important to me when he was here. The highs are gone from life...my top emptions have neen lobbed off. They are just issing in me. Im not depressed but I am slowly building a different life...but it pushes HIM further and further away so I am conflicted.....

About fragrance...I think it can be really obnoxious, and unless you can only smell one's scent close up, it feels like they are invading your personal space. I hate when people enter a room and all you can smell is their perfume/colone. I think it should be the person's choice if they wanna smell you or be smelled. I have people for example I don't like and when I smell their fragrance on them or on someone else it makes me gag.
