*FOMO = Fear Of Missing Out
Being connected digitally has numerous advantages but we could get them for a much higher price than we expected. It distorts our points of reference and nudges us into mentally harmful realms that can make us unhappy. Therefore, phenomenas like “digital fasting” arise - neglecting the digital connection at all to become well again.
But instead of radical measures like that we could integrate the digital side of being connected with the psychological side and flourish while being fully connected. Examples of applied Mental Training to accomplish that will be given.
