Almost always those who say(especially in public eye)”I’ve no make up today on my face” usually have some foundation bit of eye liner etc. But you are courageous. And you really have shown as your face with no colour naked. ....

I won the Dafni brush from Nadine just before Xmas. I was bed bound at the time. Having gone back to work it has changed my life!! Literally, which now gives me an extra 10 mins to have in bed. 🙂

Great video, thanks for the tips. I bought a swan neck ipad holder holder from amazon, I attach it to my window shelf so I get the best natural light - best £25 I’ve spent for zoom meetings.
I've had to be Zoom ready all week. My law school Capstone week was via Zoom all week and two hours earlier because of time zones. I needed to be camera-ready by 6:30am. Most importantly, you can use a filter on Zoom by changing the settings!!! Perfection. Also, I made my computer stand-up compatible. That way, I could tilt my camera and computer at an angle upward so there's no double chin and I could give presentations standing. I feel more confident about giving a presentation while standing rather than sitting and slumping. I never go one day without BeautyPie One Powder Wonder!!!
This is such an excellent video. I love your tips. They inspire me. I've not used the phone attachment for the Rikki mirror I bought after watching one of your videos year ago. Now that I'm Zooming (like everyone else in lockdown) this is a great feature of the mirror. Also, the way you apply shadow and liner is so helpful to me. I also appreciate your lack of neurotic vanity. It is refreshing.

Brush your hair unless you wear your hair in its natural curly/wavy state. Then a brush or comb is your worst enemy. ;) Thanks for this video. I have been caught forgetting about a zoom call until the last minute.

Tempur: you can get a matress topper from them depending on how you like to sleep. one is cooling, at least that's what they told my when i got mine 6ish years ago (i like to be cozy warm at night so i can't personally speak to it, but it might be worth for you to check out)

This is great and made me realise I am on the right lines :-) I also use the Nars concealer and beauty pie powder. I like the EL mattifier primer as well. We don't need too much glitter or shine in our 50s (I am 54 - eek)

Brilliant topic! Indeed, i am a minimal make up wearer but even i started adding some eye liner, brows and a bit of lip liner onto my face to have more definition and less of a washed out face. Next is having a web cam at the right angle which is hard. Plus... as a single lady...these video dating is hilarious :D

If you can’t afford the mirror. I use my iPad as a light. Go to RU-vid and click on inbox. There is a list of vids waiting to be watched, I have found the white background an excellent source of light for pics and videos. Just pop it on your lap and place phone on about 9 books in front of you to get it slightly higher as Nadine said and bingo.

I look positively bland and washed out. Even my eyebrows are blonde. Funny that you mention grey eyebrows. I have found a WHITE EYELASH. WT actual F is that about. I badly need my brows and lashes done. And don’t mention the re-growth situation!

My all time favorite for FAST foundation/powder in one step. Sephora Make Up Forever Matte Velvet Skin Blurring Powder Foundation. It can be applied with a two sided pad for more or less coverage. Saves me time & looks great (even better over Dr Brandt pores no more, if you’ve got an extra 30 seconds ;-)

Nadine you need to do a nasal douche - Pint of cooled previously boiled water, teaspoon of bicarb, teaspoon salt teaspoon sugar all dissolved in the water and then sniff it up from palm or use a spray which has been sterilised. Its a treatment suggested by surgeons post sinus surgery and it helps with keeping nasal area moist, and eases any inflammation which could be prone to infection. Also is good for sinus infections. Its not pretty and makes a mess but do it in the shower. Everything must be sterile as do not want to introduce infection into that area x

Love your videos! A "how to look nice with hayfever" video would be great (I get a red nose and have blonde eyelashes so I can't even leave the mascara off). My hay fever has been bad this year too.
Nadine, did you know there’s a setting in Zoom to “touch up appearance”? Go into your settings and make sure it’s ticked. It softens your face like a filter 😉 (great video!)
Mally has done a mattifying, powder-free compact for years. It's called Poreless Face Defender. I don't know why nobody ever mentions Mally. I think it's fabulous!
