As an honorary lock. I have bad games against ppl who just dribble straight. Because I’m constantly expecting someone to left right or snatch back at any point. Had a guy give me 20 with no dribbles moves yesterday. I had to laugh because he really didn’t do any moves
the reason why almost everyone is spamming the steal button in passing lanes is because you gotta press the steal button in anticipation of a passing coming. If you read and react, you won't get the lane steal because you gotta press the button at the same time they start the pass animation.
I somewhat agree with this. I feel like you gotta press the steal button in anticipation when you have a build with only bronze to silver interceptor (85 & lower steal rating) but with gold to HOF you have more of an ability to read & react
Those situations are affected by the bailout badge, so if you have no bailout you’ll get bad animations out of those double team traps. Your best bet is to try & anticipate the double team and pass the ball before they get the trap animation to start
This information is all actual factual, you can win alot of games by keeping/playing the game simple. A lot of players don’t have the IQ because of the sigs/animations they wanna see “ankle breakers/ crossovers ” etc which makes most players difficult to play with because they become tunnel vision when they play looking for animations opposed to the mismatch of the opposing defense. It’s good to have a bag because at times it’s needed but often times all it takes is a simple pass. 95% of the guard’s over dribble and I PERSONALLY catch alot of wins because most squads that have PG’s like this theirs entire offense dictate from if that opposing PG is clamped 9/10 they have no counter. Also having an on ball and off ball game is critical, if your having a lockdown on you sometimes manipulating that lock keeping them out the mix is high IQ, most locks are only concerned about the points their matchup score. Therefore being selective about yours and making it easier for your teammates if you find success in that he may feel he locked you up but you actually manipulated and outsmarted that lock knowing they wanna be in the action.
Couldn’t agree with you more 💯, using someone’s ego & lack of discipline against them really helps, I notice a lot of locks start to bite more at way too many things once they’re off the ball
