This is why game glitching was better before patching was a thing. If LttP was made today this harmless glitch would be gone

This glitch was how I was able to beat the "Palace of the Four Sword" in the GBA version of this game. Because I didn't have any friends, I couldn't complete Four Swords that was bundled on the cartridge. (It didn't help that by the time I owned a GBA and this game, it was already over half a decade old and the DS was well in its prime.) So this dungeon in A Link to the Past would never open as it was always guarded by a guy that'd just steal your money if Four Swords wasn't beaten. After learning about this glitch online about a decade ago, I was able to roam the "limbo" realm until, after enough trial and error while having fun exploring, stumble upon a room from the Palace of the Four Sword and clip back in bounds to beat it. This glitch was some of the most fun I had playing a game ever. It consumed countless hours (and countless AA batteries) in my early teens.

This glitch is cursed because upon reloading the save you will be locked in the Dark World forever stuck as Rabbit Link and doomed to wander lands hopelessly seeking to return to the Light World.

WOW.. I had no idea there was this “glitch.” Legend of Zelda on NES is my all-time favorite video game. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on SNES was cool too.

Used to do it by freeing Zelda in her cell, and using a ledge right when you escape. S&Q, get back to Zelda's cell, take damage from the respawned ball and chain guard, then move through the wall and just go upwards until credit rolls

@SweetsIsOnline This move has been known for years. It is called the Exploration Glitch. There are multiple different ways to do it. This move is well known in the speedrun category Reverse Boss Order

I enjoy playing the game not a quick finish. However it's an interesting shortcut to just beat the game. I know I found out how to get the best armor in one of the Zelda's before someone told me or I might've read it in a book. Maybe it was Zelda wind Waker.

If it's not on a remake or anniversary, I question this end game credit. In this case it's silver arrows for only one reason it shouldn't count as completing the game. Emulators do change originals sometimes
