The beginning is completely different for me. I never start with a meat wagon and he plays darkspear all the way in his base and doesn’t play anything else until I play something
from 1:50 to 1:00 you only got spawned 2x small raptorpack 1x miner and 1x brute. Whereas when I play this mission, in this time range, the AI spawns 2 ogre Magi, 2x small raptorpack 1x big raptorpack and 1x orc grunts(other lane). How come your AI is barely spending any gold in the span of 50 seconds, not even in the other lane?
It’s because all the people that upload these “tutorials” upload them either from before the game was released when it was way easier, or they upload one of the side quests and not the real main mission when it’s also way easier.
@@taubut Not even close to true. Not only did Excoundrel stream this live just a few weeks ago after it launched globally, but you can also tell from his base’s level that it’s not a side quest. Side quests are generally 2-4 levels below your base level. In the video his base level is is below the level of the enemy. He just got lucky in spawns since the AI changes. He also mentioned he’s tried his dozens of times, so there may be some sort of pity mechanic currently in game that after so many attempts the AI eases up.
Wtf. This is the first time I've had to look up a vid for help. My devilsaur queen level looks much different to anyone else's I've seen on RU-vid. Mine uses living bomb and spams minions. I get an ogre mage guarded by the 2 orc warriors I forgot theirn name, on BOTH sides 10 seconds into the match, with tons of raptors and its impossible. I'm convinced my level bugged somehow now.
Your Devilsaur playthrough looks nothing like mine. I am getting sent far more enemy minis than you are. Edit: I am so frustrated, the video you showed is nothing like the level that I see, I have easily twice as many units coming at me and both sides.
Same as me mate and I don't get offered the units he does. I have tried resetting multiple times but order if minis I'm offered is always same and it isn't giving me the flame casting one.
Check which mini you getting (its random once. Then it stays on this stage like that forever, always going to get same set of minis) and switch in your deck (if you have mini x in your opening hand, switch it with mini y and you gonna start with it) Ps. I also have more enemies, same was with the dragon stage, the blue one. I could barely see the ground from all the whelps flying and a dude I was watching had max 5 at once)
I was stuck on this boss for like 3 days. I kept getting rekt in the beginning by the ogre mage + hordies but I found a trick where if you wait just a moment for after the ogre comes out you can drop a unbound and split him away from the other two units. Also gryphon rider down the right side will just sit on the boss.
@@Excoundrelmy issue is dealing with the mage cause he pops most units that are dealing with the grunts. My most successful starts have been using rend and backup to clear that wave but it’s hard. I’ve seen others online who are stuck on this stage cause they get the same spawns I do, I wonder why that is.
Flamewaker carried me in this stage, I have them there too and he spawns it like 5-6 times, and seems like it doesn’t cost gold for him, he just spawns it randomly with other units every few tens of seconds. I really don’t know why all youtubers/youtube videos about devilsaur queen on the youtube have it this simple as in this video.
Also the AI played nothing for solid 55 seconds, how is this possible lol? :D From 1:39 of ingame time to 0:45 til it died, not a single mini spawned. It spams minis all the time on my account, tried it like 50 times with different decks.
I kinda knew this level could not be beat without talents. Just wish I knew what talents I knew what talents I needed to work toward earlier. Oh well, I will beat this at some point and this will undoubtedly help newer players.
I finally beat Devilsaur Queen on my free to play account two days ago, I started playing the game when I saw your first free to play account. I was so close to giving up but after like five days I did it.
Didn't even include Bat Rider? It is by FAR the best mini for Devilsaur queen. Only thing that kills it is Ogre Magi AND it outranges the boss like Meat Wagon. And obviously handles the raptors perfectly
i only face bloodlusted grunts with magis behind and no sappers so my openers get shredded. every video i see has squishy sappers so i don't see how to beat this
this isnt the same for me all i get is NO gold on the stone and many many very fast grunts raptors ogre mages coming in i havent seen anyone on youtube with the same difficulty as im getting and im not sure it can be done
@@Sphynx00 Same deal here, lots more enemy minis, different arrangement. I start with 2 grunts and 1 darkspear troll followed quickly by a gnoll grunt into the ogre magi all before there's even 1 gold to mine on the left
Almost beat the game atm 80vl finished blackrock without talents f2p, just need to dungeon up ur minis till they are not 3 or 4 levels behind im ok eith 2 lvls behind enemy minis. For this lvl i ran abo ghoul pilot necro poison guy and harpies. The key is always to time pushes wait for their big push with ogre, then sumon abo near tower and spread units and do big counter push and hold tower once u take it. necro good for split push, might also take quil as well instead of harpie
My devilsaur has 2 fury warsong grunts and an orge it s really a hard openning they always spawn in the tower side ..unless i deploy unit in the other side
open with SAFE or Stonehoof Tauren at an angle to charge the Magi. Flying minis are really really REALLY good on this map, only the Ogrie Magi can kill them. (USE BAT RIDER)
This level is so stupid hard. It just swarms right out the gate and I cannot keep up. I have tried 3 different decks based on what you and other content creators posted, but it is impossible.
Rend with only one flying unit is craaaazy lol, I’m sure the deck is great for the level though, haven’t quite gotten to that section yet. Just need to beat jaina
I stopped by the twitch today and mentioned I was looking forward to this video. But I think this is where I am going to tap out. Rend wasn't my starting hero, I had to get him with gold when the blackrock dungeon dropped. I just got my first talent on the rock elemental. But this guide has worked pretty good up to now even though I was using a different leader for majority of it. Maybe it's a skill issue on my part but I'm just not able to keep up. I don't have the gold to buy copies of meat wagon, more rends or anything really. Let alone the talents. I am still stuck on the double monkey boss which I been hard stuck at for almost 4 days now. And sadly the guide has not really improved my situation any. I been trying for hours this evening. What hurts even more is I finally ran out of quests yesterday evening and since then my drive to play the game has diminished greatly. I was really hoping there was some trick here that would help me overcome the wall I am at. Un'Goro may be where my journey with the game ends.
trz plazing pvp for a bit to get some extra exp and gold. Also try doing heroics for the first two regions. At least the first should be doable already and those exp tomes really help to lvl up your units. (you get a tome per faction you clear on and then after all 5 factions cleared a lvl you get gold and a sigil)
@@faladu9991 Prob just a skill issue on my part. After I got 2k I would just get destroyed. And I've not had much luck with the heroics. I've beat the kobold guy with a couple factions and then the spider guy just poops all over me lol
The AI of this game is very freaking "smart". It happens sometimes that you cannot beat a level, no matter how hard you try. I came up with this conclusion: the game want you to spend time on it. Making pve so freaking hard while you are progressing too fast. So, do some missions, level up some minis, do some pvp, SPEND SOME REAL MONEY and then come back to that stage. It will be easier. At Blizzard are masters in those kind of things.

This boss is so fucking stupid. I have talents and way higher minis than you running the same strategy and I'll get a totally different mix of mobs and which of my heroes are available which just destroy. I'm so over this level.
