I have good news for diabetic patients. Recently the FDA approved a new medicine called Tirzepatide or Mounjaro which is a weekly injection for diabetes. It is not insulin but it is a new injection from the GLP1 class.
Studies have shown that, so far, it’s the best one in its class for improving diabetes. Also, it can help suppress your appetite, so it will make you feel full and eat less and gradually, you can lose weight on an average between 7 to 12 kg in a few months.
The most important side effects are nausea, vomiting and diarrhea especially in the first few weeks. It is also recommended not to be given to patients with prior history of thyroid cancer or pancreatitis.
in conclusion we have now an excellent new medicine for diabetes, which can also help you lose weight and prevent you from getting the serious diabetes complications such as heart attack and kidney disease, which is a great achievement.
