Hey peeps! Sorry this one took longer than expected. For the next video, I'm gonna try a new format that will hopefully allow me to show more builds and post more regularly, as I hate having a two-week gap between guides. Hope you enjoy the vid!
Im gonna have to admit, i burnt out on elden ring not long after the dlc released. Been playing borderlands 2 quite a lot. But i will always make time for a new fishy build. Much love sir.
It's such a good sword. Went on the build guide list immediately just for the looks, but the moveset is actually super fun. Thanks for watching, as always, V!
There‘s nothing more satisfying than a reposte-finish! Also you killed it with that final montage! You can only listen to that song on full volume Video is chefs kiss!
Hey Thingfishy! I've been binge watching you because youre such an underated elden ring content creator. Anyways can you make an Great Katana elden ring run? It would be much appreciated!
Basically Ancient Meteoric ore Greatsword is Zweihander but more bulky, makes in most cases bigger damage, the largest collosal sword in Range and with an anime skill that allows you to cover distance with enemies that like to move a lot. Also after you hit the big softcap with strength(54) despite the d scaling in Arcane increasing from 19 to 50 it will give the weapon 91 more AR so the weapon will deal 952 AR while two-handed without additional buffs or talismans.
I think doing both those Maliketh and Godfrey fights in the space of 15 mins was what cemented this weapons place in my favourites. Thanks for watching!
Haven't been using this really much. Looks like a lot of fun though. I really like the Furnace hammer, that thing absolutely destroys everything. Anyway, awesome video and excellent choice of music.
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who immediately made a Dante cosplay upon learning about the AMOB’s existence. Great run! Now you’ve gotta do a Vergil run if you haven’t already lol
Pretty sure spear talisman only works on the first hit of the ash on this. My setup for this weapon was Alejandro shard, carian filigreed (so I don't need to spend too many point in mind), 2-hand sword, and erdtree favor +2 for extra stamina and equip load so I can use big boy armor and not worry about trading with DLC bosses. Note: 2-hand sword talisman does NOT work on ashes of war at all, but you will be using r1s and charged attacks enough with this weapon that it is still a good pick.
so when i first saw the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. my mind immediately thought of "hey this looks like Soul Edge from the Soul Caliber seirs" so i have a build idea of making Nightmare
How to beat ER with AMOG - L2, L2, L2, L2 😂 On another note, been playing super fun and OP build on one of my alts. Wolfcrest shield with Barricade, Spear of the Impaler, Rakshasa Armor, Godfrey Icon, Spear Talisman, Shard of Alexander, Greatshield Talisman. Opaline Hardtear, Greenburst Crystal tear. Dryleaf seal for buffing and multilayered rings of light for ranged attacks. Barricade shield, Guard counter, guard counter, riposte. 2 hand spear, AoW while enemy is recovering. Rinse and repeat. Goes hard in PvP too. Lots of flexibility on how you want to play this build, what talismans you use, etc. Has an answer to nearly any situation. Survivability very high.
Funny story with Rakshasa. I actually followed your early dlc guide to get her weapon, completely forgetting about her unique hyper armor. Good times. Goood times.
Well that was fun. Which was exactly what i thought about Kick Everything until i ended up trying to fight Gaius and that fucking hippo at level 80ish! As usual, its not going well 😂 Great as always, mate. I look forward to being stuck at a hippo with this build sometime way in the future!
An easy way to kill enemy NPCs is with the deflecting tear, backhand blades, multi-hit talismans and countering them, a single counter takes 1/3 of their heal with the curved sword talisman.
Still have yet to try this weapon. Hoping to get around to it eventually. Currently running a Perfumer build though at the moment. Bit of a rough start but it’s getting better. I wanna try out all the new weapon classes for a fun run at some point but just have been slow since I had builds from the base game left to try still.
It's a super fun one. Deserves a guide just for the looks, but the weapon art really is transformative for a collosal sword. Hope you're doing well, Trevor!
Haha, Fire Knights is on the list. Be super interesting to see how it stacks up against another build I did recently (the idea was Fire Knight's without the farming). Thanks for watching!
Haven't noticed that with items but certainly with areas. For about 2 months, every time I wanted to go to the Shadow Keep I'd end up at the Cerulean coast of the Rauh base! Thanks for watching!
Haha, funny enough I read your comment on the second monitor while fighting Gaius for this run. Was going to reply but couldn't find it again afterwards. Glad the timing worked out!
@@ThingfishyGaming great minds think a like, that’s what they say any ways. 😂 I hope you have an amazing day, thank you again for always giving amazing content. You deserve nothing but the best 🫶
