How to Beat HANGED MAN in The First Descendant 

TLDR When the red tubes in the middle are about to fill up, one person has to grab the cube and run. The rest, target the crystal on its mouth. Breaking it will cause the red stuff in the tube to decrease and the cube can be returned. Rinse and repeat. Side note: When it opens its mouth, quickly run to its side so you steer clear of the laser but still have a view of the crystal in its mouth.

they need to like, explain these mechanics cuz there's NO WAY you would know that shit going in your first time.

I tryed this with randoms but no one understood what to do... it's terrible.

you HAVE TO BE HOLDING THE CUBE WHEN HIS MOUTH GETS BROKEN, then you can bring the cube back. Other wise the blood vial does not go down. FYi Yall!

This boss is actually easy. The only hard part is people who queue in without knowing what to do

Thank you!!! I just did this with a room full of bunnies and we pulled it off some how XD. Also I noticed the best way to dodge his laser beam is to just run or roll under him to the other side. Good luck to everyone. I know this is a tough boss. But it's definitely doable

Does he go into a frenzied state because you took the cube out? If so, what's the point of destroying the tongue when you could put the cube back in. Does his frenzy stop when the cube goes back in or when the tongue is destroyed?

I keep trying this with randoms, they will literally if i get down grab the cube and put it back getting us all instakilled, like if ya dont know what to do why does undoing what im clearly doing what the randoms immediately try and do?

Hitting mouth with controller also absolutely horrible.

The main problem is braindead underleveled randoms, there should be a filter to divide randoms into these individuals and actual players

ah the cube, just tried few times and could not work out what was going wrong then noticed no one was ever doing the cube thingy

My gley build just slayed it before it could do anything in a full group. May have to spend a day helping people

We do so much damage to start and then randoms just don’t understand how to aim their gun and shoot the tongue doesn’t make sense

I had a glitch where right when I picked up the cube, I went down at the same time. When I got revived I still had the cube in hand while holding my gun. I was able to shoot and use speed of light. Even though I was able to do all of that, the randoms was not shooting at the tongue and we end up losing💀 ran around for most of the match too 🤦🏻‍♂️

I joined in to this fight for the first time, and told the randoms I was with that it was my first time (joking that I will try not to die), not knowing there was specific mechanics. Seemed like my party knew what they were doing (even had a guy try and run up to the center to get the cube), but not once did they at all tell me what we needed to do, nor did they explain what happened after we got 1hko/wiped. I even asked and they just stood there not responding. I swear, these days feels like majority of people just don't socialize/talk in online games. That, or I keep teaming up with mimes. (fricken mimes..)

I was expecting a difficult fight, I used electric modules to resist damage, I had a lot of defense, and I even made my own Tamer with toxic damage, I was using Freyna... Well, first try with 2 random Bunnys and 1 Ajax... kinda disappointing lol

Everyone I play with is way to dumb to even look this up

Why the hell does every game nowadays need to make the final boss a f**king puzzle?!?? Its such a terrible idea ESPECIALLY since this game is online and relies on RANDOM PLAYERS. Also, he moves around waaaaay too much to be able to hit his mouth. What a terrible boss for a great game

I killed him and we didn’t have to pull the cube once is that even supposed to be possible or was it bugged

Biggest problem is finding agroup of friends who.. 1 play the game 2 know what there doing 3 willing to communicate 4 not going in with under level characters. Destiny eventually suffered this casualty with raids and lost a lot of players due to people not being able to commit to these kind of things. This boss will definately put a lot of people off. As much as im enjoying the game i worry that its going to end up being a game that only elitists play and will become a lonely experience for casual players.

I can’t lie if you have a team that knows what to do this boss is easy af the problem is not having a team I had to replay this boss multiple times just to get even close to killing him because people simply just don’t know what to do once you get to the invulnerability state people literally just stop playing mid fight its fucking annoying just shoot the shit in his mouth then when he’s vulnerable again shoot him it’s that easy rinse and repeat but nah mofos just run around the arena dying over and over or go afk it makes no sense

Currently taking a break from tfd. 85 runs with about 50 of them being deaths to the mechanic. Its a horrible design for a game thats face roll up to that point.

How do I dodge the Beam? Im confused

Hate this fight: forced group play with no way of knowing if anyone has any idea what to do, AND you have to kill the tongue in one go or its hp resets. That's just mean. Half the randos have no idea what to shoot at even if you are carrying the cube for them. Find a way to make us be able to queue this private. Currently, your only option is to pray you dont get a stinky group. All other bosses you can get around this by queuing private and soloing. Here, you are at the mercy of teammate RNG as you simply cannot be a runner and a shooter. I hate it. I'm also ASTOUNDED at the amount of randos going in there with seemingly 0 defense. You know whats a good way to not get one shot? Hp and defense. I Have 0 elec. rez. I'm still tanking all hits and recovering just fine (yes, even the big death lazer. I'm even able to tank it while rezzing one of you dumbasses) Just do it, level HP and DEF and stop hoping you get carried by a 3 man. If you're gonna be useless at least dont be dying every 15 seconds.

The insta kill move is bs, and whats with hanged man with taking him on solo being blocked pyro and swamp walker was able to be done solo and that was the key instead of relying on randoms

Really shouldn't take 16 minutes to say what to do, this shit could have been 5 minutes. If you’re playing Fina, then you’re already making a pills surrounding poison. If you’re not, why are you playing right now? I’m seriously the build should be all about poison. If you’re on front, you got a lean into each character size springs and hers of poison ability is a poison machine gun, but I think you’re right. I haven’t beat this guy yet. I don’t I’m not a RU-vidr or anybody I mean I have a job so I’m not playing every single day and I’m only just getting to this boss and it’s frustrating as hell because one nobody knows the mechanics and then unfortunately to every random group I’m getting into we don’t have the DPS to just burn it down and under two minutes you know you can I mean I’ve seen it done the very first video in the search, you can burn this boss down and under two minutes with DPS and skip all the mechanics right the box carrying the brown where is in vulnerable while you got the box and having to put the box back all that mechanic is on that Siri if you have the DPS to burn him down and under two minutes and the guy I watch do it. They did it in like a minute and 15 burn down showed both method showed the caring method completely but the part that got me was that if you just go in there ready for it or the foot Team, you can do it under two minutes and you don’t have to worry about any of those mechanics which likewise means you probably want to get all your deer to level 100 do you want to get much of it upgraded you wanna be ready so you can be doing serious dps
