Love this idea with ladder start around the corner. I feel like this will help a ton of people trying either new chars or builds. Maybe cover FoH ,spearzon , Xbox barb, physical zon, summon druid, etc…. When the new ptr 2.4 comes out as always love the content.
Love the idea!!! Looking forward to more! For the Let’s Play, would be great to see the FOHdin now that FOH can hit demons as well. Not sure if it is viable around lvl 30-35. Interested in playing FOH for ladder!
Taunt was the most intersting skill to see when I built a singer. It's odd to that the singer barb feels like the CC of D2 as if they were an Enchanter in everquest
there's a trick with the door from bottom (it can work with the great door) where you can lock your merc safety and kill the boss with insight still active
You can have lawbringer in one hand which helps w killing ghosts bc of sanctuary aura. Shout barb still doesn’t have enough damage.. it becomes useless especially in P3 and above… It would have been better if they upped the damage more to make it more viable especially in end game
Ignoring psys-immunes is just annoying.there are actually quite a few. Icluding ghosts with their runedrops. And a Lot of bosses with stoneskin...really waaaaayyy to many to play comfortable. The phys-immune harpies are also super annoying
Mrllama! You have a multitude of clout. Question! What do you think of them adding a unique key. Like a key that does not deplete. “Skeleton key” also.. maybe utilizing standard of heroes in a cube recipe to summon Uber Diablo instead of soj. “X” amount of SoHs sold or cubed to spawn Uber D. Hope you see this. Maybe make it a thing!
D2 seems to love quantities so idk if they wanna do anything with infinite quantity like that. I think we are all waiting for SOH to get a use though lol
For whatever reason, with Lawbringer equipped, Warcry will kill the Wraiths/Spectres. Was trying to use it just to proc Decrepify, and I noticed that on the Wraiths that didn't actually have it on them, they were still taking damage, despite being physically immune. Doesn't seem to work on non undead PIs though.
Nice catch. I checked wiki for this runeword and here's the answer: "Sanctuary aura that allows all physical damage dealt by the character to ignore resistance on undead enemies."
We all know what we need to do... wright angry letters to blizzard and get a mrllama unique item or runeworde. Llamas swinging 3rd leg of terror. It can be a club that decimates enemies like no other
Exactly! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VW9MEdnM7U4.html You don't need to be able to kill ALL THINGS in diablo to actually advance in the game! Some people ask, for example: "how do you beat hell on a blizz sorc?" You Skip and TP thru most of the stuff! :)
so the singer barb is really just a concentration barb? i guess this holds true for whirlwind as well. war cry seems like a utility spell they added damage to
I see you use Concentrate to apply the CB. I've seen Teo's guide suggest WW to do it. Thoughts between the two? I'm kinda thinking the extra point for WW is worth it for the (much) faster attacking it offers, especially now that it's not hot garbage anymore, lol.
I leveled up as barb in this ladder using that guide as well. 1 point in Whirlwind, cheap crushing blow gear, Battle Cry to reduce defense for more hits and it worked pretty well on bosses. Got Prevent Monster Heal Dagger from npc vendor and killed 2 dclones with this setup so far. I uploaded dclone fight here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i5JYf1SQ4O0.html
@@kaelos4 I just beat nightmare with singer barb and used black + ww on all of the act bosses and it did work wonders.. ww seems to proc the crushing blow many times when you are spinning through the bosses and it drained their health super fast.. I am dreading about the hell difficulty not just because of phys immune enemies but also because battle cry even at lvl25 with lvl25 war cry struggled already with some enemies on nightmare..
@@elitereptilian200 War Cry will be very slow on hell. I just skipped most monsters with Leap and killed those I need. Leveled up on nightmare and some specific spots in hell I don't remember where exactly but Flayer Jungle is pretty good, lots of fetishes and die quickly.
My singer barb is in hell right now and one thing people are forgetting is maxing howl early is super nice. Just run thru the game howling everything away until you run into a unique and just shout the unique down and any minions that come back. I skip basically all mobs this way. I also spent a decent amount of time leveling in NM cows too
@@ronin4160 Why Howl as a singer? You just stun and melt everything with WC. If anything, the stunned normal mobs make great meat shields for the elite mobs that don't get stunned. If you Howl them away you'll get hit more.
I figure the cry/singer Barbarian might be a great choice for someone's first hardcore character. Here's my theory crafting: You want to stack up on defensive tactics and resources since even a temporary insufficiency means game over. The main ones are (a) don't get attacked; (b) don't get hit; (c) reduce the damage; (d) survive the damage. War cry stuns enemies, which is great for not getting attacked. Howl (/ grim ward) and Taunt are great supplements: a taunted monster won't attack you while it's walking over to you, at which point it's stunned by war cry, and frightened monsters run away (leaving you alone). Battle Orders plus Battle Cry makes it ridiculously easy to survive pretty much anything, beating every other class (except maybe the Necromancer's Decrepify). Leap Attack is a good enough teleport substitute which will help you out of sticky situations. (Iron Skin and Natural Resistance help with not getting hit and with reducing the damage, but they're nothing to write home about.) Other theories: skelemancer won't get hit hiding behind his army, and yet there are the burning souls shooting lightning through everything. Sorceress with energy shield can survive anything, except maybe it's down in a momentary lapse of attention and her baseline HP are bad. Paladins have decent hit points plus holy shield, but the Barbarian outclasses him. Druid and Assassin are... fine, I guess, but with no extra special extra survivable skills.
What a very sad and unfun way to play the barb with the stun constantly. Problem with barb if you try to play in it the traditional sense with concentration and ironskin it is very difficult. Mostly swinging your way through the monsters like a normal character. Whirlwind is silly too. Barbs are a broken character. Nothing like a real Barbarian like Conan.
Nice, but act1 hell, first quest has physical immune, you can't complete quest. I thought you should discover ways of solving it. Anyway, I solved it by A1 fire merc + black runeword on weapon swap. I can't see another options here. Will appreciate for your feedback(not restarting area until there is no immunes) p.s. you speaking right, just skip all immunes, this works. but for first quest you should kill this imune somehow.
I had the same in the Chaos Sanctuary... had is completely cleared only to get a physical immune specter as the Seal Boss... My merc was rocking an Insight which deals about 100 fire/lightning damage and some poison damage... I made sure to keep up War Cry which reduces Defense by 104% atm so the Merc would hit 100%, then kept the mob stunned for about 15 minutes while the merc slowly killed it. Diablo on the other hand was down within 2 minutes :P
