Correct. Cannot cave in to the travel day nap. My best friend’s sons did this on our trip to Greece and it took them almost the whole first week to get on normal time. We warned them, but you can’t tell teenagers anything 😂
NOPE… naw babe. Way too taxing on the body and mental awareness. TRY THIS ::: Check-in, wash yo a$$, room service, blackout shades… go to sleep (no matter the time). REST to recharge is so vital for health. When you wake from the first sleep, THEN you asses and REPEAT and tweak/adjust to THAT time and now you can “ sync “ to that time zone. TRY IT- fast pace, tryin to maximize every minute is hard on the body. 🥂 CHEERS TO HEALTH…. GURL! I'm so miserable when I'm sleep deprived, I can't even stand myself. I'm part of a travel club, and what I do is get there 1 day beforehand so I can be rested when the group arrives. I sometimes will take a sleep aid if I'm awake when I should be asleep. Hitting the ground while jetlag doesn't work for me at all.
Take it from a military Mom (Suzanne Sommer's R.I.P. taught this) 2-3 days before the trip begin by calculating the daylight hrs of place ur going to, eat protein based meals. During their dark hours, eat carbs. It's worth it! Switch on the way back.
