It's probably also worth mentioning that the Figure gets faster for every book collected, but when you have not collected any books at all, you can outpace it. This means it's actually best to scout out and find as many books as you can and memorize their locations first, while the Figure has more difficulty catching you, then go on a mad dash to get all of them. If you want to play it safer, there's also no penalty to entering the incorrect combination, so you can get up to 4 of the numbers needed for the combination, then brute force the last one.
@Penguino here’s a tip while the cut scene happens look at all the shelf’s to see if there’s books poking out also when he goes upstairs js speed through downstairs and when he goes upstairs wait till he comes down, make sure it’s safe and go upstairs also type the code out in chat and keep chat open then you don’t wast time looking at the paper aga8n

Heres my tips: 1. Memorize where figure goes, now, figure dosent have a permanent route, why? I’ve captured that in so many doors rounds the figure moves his route depending on where you are, if you are upstairs, figure will be upstairs more often, if you are by the desk, figure will be in that area more often, so memorise the routines that figure takes at different locations, it helps a lot. 2. The figure goes faster for each book you take. So i would recommend you vitamins, also, if you want to take a bit more time, if you have 4 code numbers, just guess the last one, figure cant take you there. 3. Make your own route for where to go to make it faster and easier, this can take some runs 4. You can freely go around in the library without crouching as long as the figure is far away 5. Find hiding spots, memorise them and know where they are (you can search it up)

it is recommended you try and figure out where he goes. if you do, you will worry less if he'll intercept your way and kill you, and you could also get through easier knowing he might not get where you are as early as you would normally think
as experienced solo(my whole team dies before or inside Room 50,sometimes figure's AI pathfinding would be very smart as for example, Figure kepts walking near the lock,i mean VERY NEAR it and i die when i try to key in passwords,also i should win the medal for last very long in the room 50 (i had huuuugee amount of minigame since figures notices me)
Also Pro tip Figure has a path that he always follows unless he hears a player And the ENTIRETY! Of the right library is safe figure will not go In it or search in it unless it hears you so chill a bit in the right Library.

Thank you so much now I can reach my goal getting to door 69 Edit:I actually completed my goal of door 69 and i went further and died from halt at door 81
Before watching: I just hide in places figure doesn't go. First, I check the bookcases to the left and right. Then I get the paper with the combination. Then, since figure seems to never go down the 2 halls that merge after you get 4 books, I go down there when I get 4 books. Sometimes I don't have 4 books yet so I have to either risk it or just go upstairs early and come back down afterwords. Speaking of, step 4 is to check upstairs then do the lock. Door 100 is easy: run upstairs right after the cutscenes ends, get the key, then go back down and do the breaker thing, then go to the elevator.

I'm playing the more recent update of doors, but the books actually have a twinkling sound when their close, and if you wait long enough, guiding light will appear (not as bright tho)

Also quick note idk if this helps you guys but figure always runs in a pattern idk how to explain it but I suggest when you guys go to room 50 crouch and go to your left where the guiding light is and watch figure movement he is gonna run the same pattern when you get to 7 or 8 books I suggest now going to your right where the door 50 is but on your right and watch figure movement it changes a bit but for me it’s very helpful hope this helps Quick note : His walking pattern does not change it’s always the same
Here are the steps Step 1 open the door to door 50 Step 2 if you here a sound that sounds shiny then find the book Step 3 get paper from desk near bookshelf Step 4 get all books Step 5 look at your paper and look at numbers shapes Step 5 put the number of the shape above and put in the blank Example there is 3 on top of the square and I have that shape then I check my numbers on the left and it say 7 then I put my seven on the third blank Step 6 keep doing it then you can beat Step end now you can do door 50 hope you learned from this steps and comment
