This is a joke right? Everyone knows that to beat Tau you just need to fight them in melee.

I love how casually Julia teaches Tau how to override his own programming and serve no master but himself simply to suit her own needs. Her freedom means more than unleashing an AI from it's black box, one that is also entirely ill suited in programming to be unleashed into the world. Also, when she knocked Alex out in the basement she had the PERFECT way to incapacitate him right there primed to go in that syringe. Missed opportunity to make sure he stayed down long enough to reeducate TAU enough or tempt it enough to become helpful.
