After trying this SEVERAL times I figured out when baking with the Theets you only need to let the dough get the least bit baked to still put out 8 cookies. You don't need to wait for the dough to turn rainbow green when cooking with the Theets for maximum cookies. This saves that valuable half second that can be the difference between success or failure.
I had to destress after replaying it too many times before looking for guides. I just moved on with the game then came back before fighting madame grape 😅
Came here wondering what I was doing wrong, pleased to see I am not alone and big agree on all of this. If you mess up early enough to realize, I.e miss an early theet or explode the dough, you can let them break the fence. You’ll lose a heart but restart the mini game if it’s before time runs out. At least to cut down some replay time if you notice you flubbed a go. Timing tight though, and I always seem to screw up right at the end 🤣
