Yeah, I had to protect two friends of mine from crowd surge like this when a mosh session got too enthusiastic. Someone can get hurt and the crowd has no idea.
Buy why wouldn't he go after all tho other people who actually murdered people? Why would he go after a few teens because, they got first dibs on a fucking waffle iron LMAO, this whole movie doesn't make sense
This movie is not only the most accurate representation of Black Friday, it is another accurate representation of how actions always have consequences.
@@medogerty6013 you do realize things change, right? something that happened in the past because of the circumstances and now not common because online shopping is safer
The trampoline part was actually terrifying, the thought of repeatedly being stabbed without being physically held by a person and purely off gravity is just so scary
I don't think it would work like that lol, you'd either have to hold the trampoline up enough that the knife would stab into someone (which would take away the bounce) or not hold the knife tightly which would make it less likely to stab. Still scary tho
I think the saddest scene in this is when Scuba is holding Yulia's body and just asking, "What do I do, Jessica? What do I do?" Thats such a real reaction to the trauma and I had tears in my eyes. Amazing acting!
Another scene that crushing was during the parade, when the fake boat on the truck broke from it's chain, and the bowsprit (the long spike at the front of the boat), smashed through the window of the truck and skewered the driver's head. Those two girls begging their grandpa to wake up... Sheesh, still brings me chills everytime I think about it. John Carver doesn't care if anyone, innocent or not, dies in his quest for vengeance.
I refuse to even go out on Black Friday. After working 10+ years in a mall where it had been so bad, mall employees had to be escorted to/from their cars. People got tazered, mugged, stabbed, etc at that mall of BF. People are fucking crazy 😶
So insane especially considering these deals aren't even real and are barely good in the first place. They just inflate the prices so when they reduce them it seems like you're saving a lot of money
@Jess-Rabbit for real. That's the other main reason why you won't catch me anywhere on Black Friday. I'm too broke to waste my money on stupid crap like that 😑
I've always been amazed at how many people do that. It's the day after Thanks-freaking-giving, how does anyone have the energy to shop that early after the holiday feast?
@nicholasfarrell5981 I would love to know how they do it then again, I would have loved not having to go in at 10pm on Thanksgiving night and work until about 7pm on BF. 🥱 The crappy sales will still be there on Friday! Store don't need to open on Thanksgiving! 😭
It took 15 years to make this movie based on a fake trailer from 2008! Still, they delivered a fantastic gory slasher movie! Can't wait for the sequel!
Recently, we learned Black Friday was a sham in our area as there was no actual deals. They were the same price they were before, just with a fake slashed out price on them with an XX% off. So, no one really showed up when it came around.
I forgot what the security guard did but it wasn’t good. I think it was not doing anything at all to try and control the situation. But I know he was dealing drugs to college students.
I like how the characters actually have brains in this movie. Sure, not all of their moves are perfect, but I think it’s a lot better than the classic dumb teenagers in most slashers. I’ve always wondered about why they don’t just leave the country.
I loved how that killer after decapitating manny, just decided to gie the cat some food before leaving. It's like he was saying "I'm a killer, not a monster."
I went to see this in theaters with my best friend, and I vividly remember everyone in the theater talking amongst themselves about how much they didn’t want the cat to be killed, and some people even started cheering when he wasn’t, it was the best 😂
She was pregnant with his child!! Yea he said it in the movie. She was leaving the manager to be with him because she was pregnant. He explained it in the movie
i was pressed at a concert once. my chest was being pushed hard against a beam that kept the crowd from the stage, it hurt like hell, im so glad a security guard saw and pulled me over the barricade and got me out of there.
I said this 2 my friends as soon as the trailer came out. If I was tagged by a killer I would go 2 the police station so I could be put in a cell for protection. Or something like that
What stops the killer from finding you?Maybe he can end up in the same cell as you.The worst case is that he is an officer, which is a case in this movie
I'm beyond perplexed by how fast the killer has to change outfits. Also, one would think the killer would have smelled like hairspray after Jess got him in the face with the substance when she was being attacked in the school. One last thing, I've never seen or heard of a high school with a cosmetology room!
Big city education has its drawbacks, you would have had to sign up for the vocational training program. In smaller towns if the funding is there all the vocational classes are in the same building as regular high school. My school had a culinary, photography, cosmetology, and anatomy/micro lab. To go along with the standard woodshop, auto, and art studio(ceramics, etc)..
I appreciated the twist villain since I never would have suspected the sheriff, but I find it odd how Amanda was killed. She invited her lover over for Thanksgiving dinner. Her husband had to leave for work. So why in the heck did she bother bringing her husband food on the job when she had a perfect opportunity to spend time alone with Eric? She even had Eric escort her to her husband. I don't understand how Eric and Amanda seem to act like they care for Mitch when they're having an affair behind his back? Unless Amanda likes to have her cake and eat it too.
7:15 No no, no, you're all sorts of jacked up You need to blame the crowd being in a crowd is no reason to act like an animal If the crowd has no self control, they are at fault, not the business-men
I just love the 2 italians guys(not mario or luigi) just say in black Friday "Why are they fighting over that tv?" LIKE THERE LITERALLY NOT THAT SAVAGE😂
Half the movie I thought Bobby was the killer but the way they tried to pin him made it obvious it wasn’t the cop quickly became the next suspect to me and sure enough he was. 😂
11:40 - there was a phone on the desk right next to/ slightly behind the monitor. I haven't seen the movie, so maybe the killer cut the phone lines, but still.
14:44 my cat blinded a man who was trying to attack me with her claws while my dog hid under the couch 😂 my big ass dog is scared of butterfly's. I'm the one who's protecting him in a situation that
This is exactly why I don’t do Black Friday shopping. First of all, I live in a small city, and the teens are ape shit. Like, 50 fights in one mall type crazy. We had to be supervised by parents or we weren’t allowed in, period. Imagine how bad the adults are! Thankfully, though, I do aaalll my shopping online, if at all. If you ever want to go to a concert, always take a chair seat. It’s tempting to be on the floor, but that’s exactly where you can get mugged or killed, worst case scenario. Stay safe, and have a damn good day!
The only thing that I didn't get when I saw this movie last year was that why was Bobby dressed as the killer if the Sheriff was going to frame him for the murders? Clearly, the Sheriff had an accomplice during two scenes in the film when Jessica was trapped inside the school the Sheriff was with other deputies outside when she responded to a text. Then attacked by the killer in the beautician classroom and the second time was during the live stream where the Sheriff was watching with the others. It would be impossible during those two events for the Sheriff to be at two places at the same time which Eli Roth said he would have explained in the sequel so my guess is the second killer will pick up where he left off I think that Eric Newlon is dead.
Yeah. So, there is going to be a sequel. Ten years later, the Sheriff becomes a story told by campfires. “If you wander too far into the woods, Jack Carver might pop out and chop your head off!” Or, they could pull the ol’ “They say he died in the fire, but nobody ever saw his body…” And then another character (The first one to die) says, “C’mon, man, that’s just a story.” I mean, of course there’s going to be a sequel, why else would they explicitly mention the body was never found.
I finally watched it last night so now I can watch this and I was talking thru the whole movie like I was you How To Beat lol…so I know this gonna be good and probably easy 😅 👏🏾
