"Blaming a ghost for your problems is just dumb, superstition is for the weak minded. But this is Asia, and ghosts haunt the fuck outta us." Best line ever.
I always love the logic of "I'll kill/threaten to kill dozens of random innocents because someone unrelated killed MY loved one! That'll teach the person that's unrelated to these random innocents a lesson!"
I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and guess that those students were the children of the parents that cheated the school system. Still kinda fucked up to resort to murder for them.
In grade school, we got a new teacher that gave ALOT of us the creeps. A lot of students dropped that class; I was one of them. 20ish years later I ended up doing some property deals with the best teacher from that school. He told that creepy teacher was in jail bc SEVERAL students finally came forward. My response “not surprised” then I told him how I felt at 12yrs old. And he said every female student has said same thing to him. He said most of the teachers never realized how uncomfortable so many kids were. He apologized. Some people are just good at hiding their weirdness factor around other adults. That’s why they can do what they do for so long. The kids that dropped the class bc he was creepy wouldn’t even know to report he’s creepy and those type of adults are usually fairly good about picking the kids that won’t tell they’ve been assaulted
realized the teacher was the villain when he saw a potentially schizophrenic kid with scars on his wrist and accepted the excuse “the ghost did it” instead of calling a therapist
As someone from Asia, you were right about it. Even you live in a country or a town that have highest chance of ghost coming to hunt you, grow up are usually the one who dont believe it. If they believe it, that mean they know that they indeed did something bad in the past
“This math is too complicated to solve, so let’s calculate the volume of the tank and how long it will take to fill up and also calculate the range of the radio”

@@ffhello4783 no once i was sick the whole class got to draw whatever they wanted the whole of art bc of a sub, the music teacher gave em all chocolate cause they were good. -_- no fair
Same guy thats also ready to sell out, leave student to die and murder someone if it raise his survival rate...Cinema Summaries is quite cold blooded lol.
I'm just waiting for the "These students went to their highschool, This was their first mistake as we all know that's where all the death games happen, I would have anticipated this and chosen to be homeschooled instead to avoid the risk."
Fun Fact: Jiwon, the ghost girl in the movie, has also horror movie called "White: Melody of the Curse" and a member of KPOP Group called T-ARA (pronounced as Tiara but silent "i")
I really don’t get why the parents would target the other students for their daughter’s death. It would make more sense to call the teachers together and have only them play this death game.
@@lisasbangs3712 I don't need to wait for answers i need it now but i think they're clearly have a superiority complex and bullies that gal a fuck tonne
I think its because the topper students weren't actually smart but just bribed the teachers and thus scored well, unlike the ghost girl who worked hard for it
So I'm going to admit a point of ignorance. But, I've noticed that Japanese and Korean horror has a very strong "death game" genre. What happening culturally to produce that? I only ask because horror, more than most genres, is used to talk about fears, worries, stresses, social issues, etc. So it's really interesting that there's just so much in this specific genre from those specific places. Any informed ideas on that?
@Agent Bubble Have a talk with all of the teachers from my old school, they literally beat students when they "Misbehave" or don't do their homework in time or some other stupid reason, with a taped meter ruler 💀 I got hit with it countless times for no reason and I was the "A student" I guess they just like to torture kids?
@@coquettebatman it will be really fun to travel Korea, but some parts will be frustrating when you want to live in Korea such as high prices.other than that, if you can afford it, i would say its really good country to live in
I love how most channels are like “we should make sure everyone stays alive” and then there’s cinema summery who’s like “nah just throw em under the bus”
This comment reminds me of the 911 episode when like 2 people were talking in some office and one said "Don't throw me under the bus!" And then both of them literally got thrown under the bus
Movie: *someone gets shot* Cinema: “what i would do was grab the bullet as it comes towards me, use my strength to throw the bullet and simulate the power of a gun and shoot him instead. Easy”
The girl definitely tried to lift the top of the tank. You literally cannot drown yourself and since she knows which direction was up her body would naturally make her push that way as hard as possible. Idk just seemed like a weird comment to make.
when teacher is nice and doesnt beat up their students cinema summary: EMERGENCY MEETING THIS TEACHER IS SUSPICIOUS AYO DO NOT TRUST HIM when the teacher is strict and does beat up their students cinema summary: *use him as a meat shield*
If it were me, when I was getting pulled under the bathroom stall I wouldn't have politely moved my foot out of the way when it got caught on the door frame
"Okay, if I was in this tank I wouldn't let this happen." Has the same energy as "There's a giant comet heading right into Earth, what do you do?" "I take care of it."
maybe the smart student who got killed isn't smart at all. What if that psychopath teacher sells their exam paper to the smart student parent, which is why none of the "smart" student manage to answer jin who question, it's because their never smart in the first place, they're just cheater. which is probably why the ghost kills the smartest student first because they know that the smart students are cheater
senator armstrong is the one person who could reasonably win this death game, he'd just punch the shit out of the ghosts while talking about american politics
I like how the guy is thinking that drowning in an enclosed space is optional. Like "OK I have no more air and my lungs are being filled with water but I'll just say no and I wouldn't drown"
For the first one, its possible to just cover the hole with your hands or feet that will slow down the time to fill up the box that also makes more time for the students too find and save her.
Cinema Summary “I can’t read Chinese ” Wait wait wait wait so cinema summary can survive any horror movie known to man but if he had to read a Chinese food menu in all chinese to save his own life he wouldn’t survive? I think I found his kryptonite!!!!!

Ok, I'm almost convinced he's making these videos so that kids will want to do school at home so they don't have to deal with these high school death games.
I only attended 5th grade in Korea but yeah, punishments were insane. Someone forgot their art supply? Everyone get on your knees and hold your desk over your heads! Forgot your gym clothes? Run laps until you puke! Forgot to do your homework? Hold the plank position while your ass gets beat with a ruler! Sleep during class? Blackboard eraser to the head! F**king nightmare.
Oh yes, as for me- I'm Asian and I love ghost stories even though it scared the crap out of me. I even experienced 'hunted' by ghost in my OWN HOUSE. When I was a kid I saw it too, several times. Not a very pleasing experience, haha.
I'd assume they'd just go after the next in the list, but if the students figure that out, then the next, and if they figure that out, then keep going down the list, they can't protect everyone forever.
@@randomperson5579 Yes you can.. it's calling grouping up and sticking together. It's pretty much what you do with the scouts or in the military. Always be with multiple people at once. If you're with 10 people for example you can stick in one group of 10, 2 groups of 5 or 2 groups of 3 and one of 4 etc... plenty of options that would keep all people on the list under constant watch.
"Alright, the trick to this one is to get really super upset before the ghost kills you, that way you can come back as a ghost and stop the ghost from killing everyone else. If that sounds cold, that's because it is."
