To be fair to Gio, I would imagine finding people shot in the back, dead or nearly, would be somewhat common in this quaint yet somehow entirely gang-ridden town. And my guess is that Mr. Small Town Cop doesn't want to report the gunshot wounds that might have him knocking on gang-affiliated doors.

You forgot the best part of the movie. The only reason Robert got into that whole mess was because a retiree lost his life's savings from a scam. Robert traced the money and just happened to run into that crime syndicate trying to recover the money

I hated this movie so much. It was 2 hours of Denzel Washington being an unbeatable Gary stu, a mafia that was barely a threat, and an Italian guy getting his shit kicked in just to make you feel like the bad guys were actually a threat. The final "fight" happened almost entirely off screen for Christ's sake!!! I hate this movie.

I couldn't watch this entire movie so im glad i can know how it ends here. Main character plot armor had me yawning the whole time. What's the point of watching when he's pretty much a superhero. Even John Wick seems somewhat plausible (the first one - the others are pretty much this movie but with a white guy). This was all just nonsense 😂
