Not a really creepy story, but frightening and it kind of fits the first one: I work with people with disabilites. In the facility is a group home for people with PWS (they are nothing like the boy in the first story though. Only really the hunger part seems to be the same). A collegue of mine told me how he worked in that group. Every meal was strictly planed as so many of the people with PWS really fight against obiesity and have oftentimes diabetes. Well... he made the mistake of putting down a cake on the table. Everyone was supposed to get one slice. When he turned around one person grabbed the cake and managed to run into their room, locking the door behind them. While they ate the cake the other seven people living there went on a total rampadge. (Like imagining you feel like starving and someone steals your cake). So my collegue stood there alone between people fighting, all of them 3-4 times heavier then him. He called a few other collegues from different groups to get everyone to calm down a bit Plus the person eating the cake had super high blood sugar afterwards and acording to the doctor they shoudnt have survived this. So yeah, not his favourite day at work. TLDR Person with PWS steals cake from 7 others with PWS, kitchen turned into a warzone

For the first story, couldn't the mom just drive him to the hospital after he gets shot? If she has any idea about her son's midnight farm raids, all it would take is a quick word with the doctor, who's already legally required to report gunshot wounds, that her son has a bad habit of criminal activities. Then, just ditch him in the system. It's harsh, but as he's now legally an adult, she doesn't have any responsibility. Ideally, he goes from hospital to court to prison, and she can move out of town, change her name, and start life anew on another continent in case he decides to get vengeance for her abandonment. It's not like he has a super genius intelliect to track her down, or could get a job that would let him hire a private investigator. Sure, he'll probably end up on the street and eventually engage in cannibalism anyways, but the goal is for the mom to survive.

I work with a kid who has Prader-Willi syndrome. It is not a high metabolic rate they have, in fact those with PWS have a lowered metabolism. Due to a lack of muscle tone AND a lowered metabolic rate, weight gain is rapid when eating and difficult to lose; Prader-Willi is a genetic issue one has from birth (technically, along the lines of conception) which deletes a variety of genes on the 15th Chromosome, leading to a variety of issues. One of these issues is the theory of potentially lacking neural pathways to uptake hormones (specifically oxytocin, and hunger related hormones such as ghrelin and leptin) which may be a reason for the insatiable hunger. If you cannot access these hormones, you don't get proper signals to/from your body. Anyway, not to be that gal, but I have a feeling Prader-Willi is not the reasoning for the boy's appetite as he doesn't lack muscle tone and doesnt gain weight

When my father passed, the apartment we lived in started getting all weird like something out of a crappy horror movie. Weird noises, constantly unable to find stuff I could have sworn I left in certain spots, etc. Nothing truly malicious though. However, there was a TV in the living room that you could see from the attached kitchen. At night, in the reflection of that (turned off) TV getting hit by the light in the kitchen, I swear to God it would look as though there's a man (who was NOT my father) in the kitchen with you. Super freaky. A tonne of people with zero knowledge about any of these events also spontaneously would start getting creeped out on visits at random and always inevitably want to leave because "something feels off about this place". I'm talking from like Plumbers rushing their work to GTFO to family members. This was a super normal, average apartment which otherwise would give you zero reason to worry.

I have a short one I used to live in a okay place but the back door was right next to where we eat and as I was sitting at the counter eating oatmeal I looked out into our short backyard cut off from the 2 huge yards behind us with barbwire fencing, but the 2nd yard had what looked to be an abandoned greenhouse and lots of trees and when I looked over there I just saw a black figure in broad daylight just standing there I blinked and it was still there but it didn’t register to me until I looked away and then quickly looked back, when I looked back it was gone, Later it was a rainy summer knight and I put a fan on low in my open window so I could listen to the rain and get some air flow into my room and I was putting laundry away and that’s right next to the window and all I hear is the distinct sound of crunching leaves and sticks (lots of trees so lots of tiny sticks and walnuts on the ground) coming up to the window, the ring is you’d have to be 6ft to see inside well from outside since the ground dips down there but I froze in place for a minute until I heard the crunching of sticks moving away until I just slowly left my room all freaked out

Prader-Willi syndrome kids will eat anything and everything but are harmless in every other other way. They just dont have the capacity to kill anything. Most of them dont grow past 2nd graders mentally.

My creepy story… I once went to this guys house to “hook-up” and when i walked into his house I noticed a brown smear on the floor leading from the front door to a hallway.
