This is it! The water sound aka the hollow clop. One of the most incredible sounds in a beatboxers kit.
To some it might seem crazy hard or complex but I am here to break it down and show you how easy it is in just 1 minute!

Can you do a more detailed tutorial. Whenever I try to do it my tongue cant make any sound and goes very slow. Not only can I not make the sound but I cant hit my mouth fast enough with my tongue

It's because your tongue's still weak because it isn't used to that kind of movement..just keep on practicing and your tongue will get stronger and the sound will become more audible.. Took me months 😂 to make my hollow clops loud...

I stumbled upon this sound some time back while practicing beatboxing. But I learnt it differently. What I basically did was do the throat kick and the tounge click at same time. And with changing the dimensions of my mouth, I could replicate the sound.

hello Spencer. I am in my early 40's and I've always wanted to learn to beatbox. This might sound funny but when I was a kid I would watch rappers on TV beatbox and I would just walk around the house trying to do it. There was no tutorials, no youtube, NOTHING to teach me so I'm so excited to make a childhood dream come true and learn how to beatbox finally!

Should probably mention that the sound is actually called a clop within the beatbox community ;)

not really see when you do a normal clop your throat is closed but the hollow clop allows your throat to be open so even tho they have the same concept they are different sounds

@@red_back5382 ....yeah but the hollow clop is still a type of clop. Hence the name hollow 'clop'. Hollow is just an adjective to describe the tone of one clop. Its certainly not called 'the water drop sound' as spencer refers to it, which is what i was commenting on.

First day i had no hope, i couldnt do any sound with hollow clop, litteraly made no sound, after 1 week i still couldnt get my tongue to have enough power to make a sound, 3 weeks later i can finally do this sound, Even if you feel like its impossible to you, never give up, find your way to learn it because everyone has their own style and learning way and speed
