thank you.. for this and the episode with michael saylor. i was sitting in a broken heart head and body state... and ready to give up. I had 2 people in the past week commit suicide and i was thinking maybe that should be my way out ... and i said no.. the anxiety and depression of being homeless and losing it all and I was blaming the landlord for the wrongful eviction. Excuses Excuses but i had to say you know if my mind was right and my body was right i would have known that i needed help and that my concussion was a brain injury and i need to have assistance because if i had acknowledged my brain was not as strong as i used to be and its ok to ask for help. i had to look nakedly at my inadequacy i listen to this just shy of my birthday and a day before i have to go battle in court with landlord. and i know i can say instead of attacking with anger for this man and the things he has lied and done wrong. I was going to just roll over and give up but i know now what i have to go to the meeting with is the truth and gratitude. Even thou I am here homeless. i am grateful It has given me insight to a broken system that i can now start to advocate for people that end up in this position .so im grateful.for the stories from the homeless and see that they didn't know of the resources to get help . when i go to arbitration when i speak with truth and no exaggeration and grind in. then instead of giving up and just use the resources that are there. Use the knowledge and use the skills i have already trained to dig in and use my power to slay the dragon. Time to dig deep and make that world my reality. thanks for the boost #mydoubtisNotmyweakness #icandoit. #icanbeseen
Good vid. I play guitar and sing at local nursing homes and there is a transformation that takes place as they hear their favorite songs. They go from sad and sullen when they come in the room to smiling and singing along in 20 minutes. Makes my heart warm. I quit drinking and lost 100lbs (carnivore) in 2022 at 52 with goals for the future in mind after getting burned out in the IT world in corporate America. I'm confident the next 20 years are going to be the best of my life, and will provide my family with the best me they have ever had. Resources like Tom and JP help me stay focused and remember I'm not alone. Good luck to all going for it in 2023. I hope you succeed and bring a few others along.
Tom - I can attest to your point on music in many ways. I'll give you the best example. I am a musician and when one of my best friends (bass player) was dying and in coma, I played him music from our first album. He woke up and grabbed my hand. I was able to say goodbye. Thanks for your hard work!
Thanks Tom. I cannot express how important this video is to me at this moment. I have been wallowing in depression for quite sometime. For some reason I had forgotten, I am in charge of my decisions. When I heard your words that we are the the boss of our lives (paraphrasing). I simply commanded my stubborn self, to get out of bed, get my gym clothes on, head to the gym. I have learned negative self talk is only the rank and file trying to tell the CEO what to do. No more, I am the boss and the negative thoughts of discouragement and indecision are ruled over, no matter how much they scream and cry. I know longer listen to their complaining. I am in control and they better get used to it.
This is the best speech worth saving and putting on replay daily, or even just at the gym or during difficult times of weakness. I like the permission to harness (brief) anger to slay dragons. Thank You
I needed this. I've been struggling with sobriety (no porn, weed, alc) and felt a calling to document my journey on RU-vid. Knowing how difficult this journey has been for me (after relapsing HUNDREDS of time), I wanted to create videos so others could relate. It sounds silly writing this but once I am sober for a longer period of time, my dream is to help others with their journey. I would love to somehow monetize on this so that I can quit my 9-5 and do something that truly resonates with my soul. There are definitely days when I doubt myself and wonder if it's all worth it but I have to keep reminding myself that it's better than smoking weed, drinking alcohol, and watching porn all day.
I was so obese i got a disease T2D. Yes i was 165 pound but with diets, exercise, and fasting I loss over 40 pounds! Got off all my meds. I watch what i eat and exercise to maintain my weight. Practice eating real foods helps a great deal
It's 6:10 am, I am cramming for an exam, and the Gods of Wisdom ascend and say hit that play button !! I quit smoking 28 days ago and am itching with excuses like a cat on catnip. Thanks, Tom, for saying it like it is.. no BS, smack-across-the-head reality check. Get up, knock off that shit you're doing and ADULT today. Getting my ass off the couch to the treadmill, reading that damn book instead of frying neurons on Netflix, and for god's sake hook up that IV of coffee and study! Supercharge your life or squirt lemons in your eyes and stay on the misery path you are on.. Happy Tuesday.. Stay strong IT followers.

In life you have to either risk your comfort zone (time) and / or money to get the income you desire. Work hard to bring value to yourself and others and eventually money will come through!

this is a summary of the Video using an AI tool.. pretty impressive. In this video, Tom Bilyeu suggests that in order to break bad habits and achieve success, it's important to understand that the way to break bad habits is by letting them atrophy and replacing them with new habits. He recommends using pattern interruptions to stop yourself in the middle of a negative behavior, and then replacing that behavior with a new habit that you are motivated to do because it aligns with your goals and values. He also emphasizes the importance of having a clear vision of what you want to achieve, and using that vision to fuel your motivation and drive.
Hi Tom, you are advicing us to be intense! Well, you are transferring your intense message to us and it's working!! Thank you so much for the passionate video.
You're very humble. You keep saying you have average intelligence but you are one of the most intelligent people I've ever known and you say truth and hate BS. I was in a religious cult for decades and have been seriously struggling since I left. Your videos have always raised my spirits. I'm going to take notes on this video and change my life once and for all.
I love your content and watching for a while now! never would have thought you are an ADHD person... but that gives me so much hope that I will be able to break up the annoying cycle I was stuck at for 31!!!!! years of my life [ recently diagnosed, got some tools at last, working my way up - and your videos and people who came to your videos are my mentors that actually gave me the extra motivation I struggled to find! ] Thank you! So glad I stumbled upon your channel and got access for such high value tools and stories with personal examples. THANK YOU
Tom is a great person. you are sharing your experience, I have mad respect for you. we appreciate your time and effort trying to make us better and more productive.
holy holy holy TOM BILYEU... you seriously have slayed this episode. The information you have spoke to us is a truth bomb and it was some hard words to sit there and acklowledge where I am right now. i sat down meditated and wrote down who i am wand where i want to be. potential and skillset you have spoke of is there and i have to see my fear and why i mastered the art of procrastination and the emothion i had attached to it. i know i need to execute and not have the fear make the list and stack failure on the timeline and and see your growth.
Good to watch this, I just slipped off my diet today and gave in to junk food, then watched the bit about realising that hunger is a sign your getting to your goal, that you're body is utilising fat instead of carbs to get energy, and that I have to own this and that pain and struggle is part of achieving your goals.
Tom, This is GOLD! Thank you for going through everything you had to in order to express this. Your channel is valuable and will help so many people! In radical gratitude for you!
i have a bad habit of self-sabotage when things are going great. i go through this toxic cycle of laziness, making excuses and eating junk food which are habits i created that are rooted from the fear of failing. my logic is if i stop giving 110% and fail now, it’s better than giving my all and still failing 🤦♀️ i’m going to break these habits by taking a cold shower while listening to my favorite song, get ready, make my to do list and get to work!!!!
I love this type of content From Tom please keep it up. It’s a break from the interview style. I just wish the headlines were more accurate about what to expect or what you’re going to talk about in the video
Amazing love watching these inspirational videos! Thank you, Tom, for all you do. Your channel has inspired to start my RU-vid channel, you gave me the push I needed. 🙂
Broth, this is one of your absolute *BEST* videos. What an amazing life-changing message. And it’s fucking free. I need to pipe this into my ears every day. Thank you!
Thanks Tom for Sharing Most Valuable Lessons in Life that Make You Successful in GOD'S and Everyone's Eyes and Minds. Live A Good Life; It is not always easy.
Solid content Tom. Thank you! Still appreciative after years for introducing me to some of the most impactful voices in my life not the least of which has been yours. Keep leveling up
Hi Tom, Unpacking how you question your emotions -would be extremely helpful and something I have not seen on your podcast yet. A “healthy distrust of your emotions” I think you mentioned ☺️ Then you spoke about, if you become angry you question hmmm maybe an insecurity was triggered in you, and therefore why would you act on it. Powerful insight and awareness!!! Not sure if you’ll see this comment but in developing mindset, for me these type of practical tools I find very helpful.
thank you tom!!!! you are great personality your videos are awesome your videos have changed my mindset and forced me to change keep doing it lots of love !!!!
Do the work yourself! If you think what he says is important to you, and worth your time to act on it, the best thing you can do is to go through the video again and break it down in written notes. Then summarize those notes into your own words, including action steps you will take. The process isn’t supposed to be easy, handed to you in summary form. The work you put in will cement the ideas for you, far better than having someone else do it for you. This might take several hours, plus more over time for review. But this is how real learning takes place. There are a hundreds, no thousands, of habit videos to watch next. At some point, you have to take one of them and get serious about the actions you will take. It’s up to you if this is the one or not, but if it is, dive deep and do the hard work. It will be enormously satisfying.
fkin luv this @23:30 ,.... " To everyone I really care about most in the world, I wish you, suffering, failure, pain, embarrassment, loss, anguish, grief, because being able to push through those things proves the only thing that really matters, that is the ability to endure." That is what probably god is putting us through in this life on this planet. Its a training development program.
