A student pilot from Melbourne, Australia sharing what I have learnt so far about getting a Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) here in Australia.
Australian aviation is regulated by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority). I have linked some useful links below if you'd like to learn more.
This is just a part-1, getting started. You will need 105 hours of flight training before you could do your CASA CPL(H) test. The last 30 hours has to be completed in last 3 months, otherwise you will have to do 150 hours of training before you could do a CASA CPL(H) test.
I will be publishing series of videos about my journey and also focusing on information that might be helpful for other new pilots or anyone considering starting their training so if that is something you are interested in, be sure to Subscribe to my channel.
If you have any questions for a piece of wisdom you'd like to pass on, please feel free to drop me a comment or connect with me on Instagram.
