When I’m at work, I go to my car and eat my lunch and listen to something that will help me grow as an artist or entrepreneur. When my house is quiet, or I’m in the studio creating, I take even a few minutes to learn something I need to improve upon. All this content adds up and prompts me to take actionable steps like building a body of artwork and website. Learning from others like you that are making a living as a creative encourages me to continue with small steps knowing I’ll eventually be closer to my goal of being a full time working artist.
*i learn by doing mostly as it seems the tactile interaction with any activity however mundane encourages the neuroplasticity process within my brain to lean towards that skill set and further refinement of it...i am a voracious reader and constantly finding bits or topics that peak my interest and combining elements of each new found skill or process in unique ways...studying aspects of watercolor and fountain pen ink chemistry and pigments right now and how they could be tweaked to suit my experimental/abstract needs...excellent video Josie as always*
