Dear dr. Rajeev, I want to express my gratitude for this comprehensive and detailed video with all the examples and screenshots that you`ve provided! I`ve spent lot's of money for immigration and career consultants, but they didn't give me the information that I was really searching for. I'm your subscriber from now on!
Thanks for information you shared. But i have 2 questions 1 Can i work in canada without residency??(But with mccq nac.) 2 must i complete residency in my country to apply fellowship pathway? Or can i apply during residency?
Yes there are IMGs who have been successful and work in Canada without Canadian residency - some have canadian fellowships and some dont www.IMGSecrets.com
hello dr rajeev , i really appreciate your efforts in making this video. I wanted to know how can we get internship, handson practice and LORs in canada as img after completing 5 years of medschool in homecountry to strengthen our carms application .
Hello Sir,your videos are such excellent and clear information. I have a query, my partner and I are going to pursue pg in India starting this year.we have plans to move to Canada.. I've seen most of your videos..the thing is we know the perks of healthcare as a professional in USA but seeing the scenarios of scary crime rates and gun violence which keeps on increasing only..we are apprehensive about USA..so for a calmer lifestyle..we feel Canada is better and your videos definitely makes us feel that Canada is doable .. through the fellowship pathway..would like your advice about the choice of country sir..
Dr. Podila, thank you for your kind comments. You are right about the concerns with the USA. No country including Canada is perfect and every country has its pros and cons. As IMGs, most people (if not all) leave their home country because of career options. So in my opinion, from a growth perspective, the USA is still the most desirable. Canada is also a desirable place for IMGs. I recently went to Australia (Sydney & Melbourne). I met a few IMGs. I liked the Australian work culture too!
Thank you so much for the reply sir. This means a lot. I've checked Australia too .. the visa process and getting a job and all seems chaotic. Will look into it more down the lane sir.. but the provincial fellow route seems doable with proper efforts.. also pr is an added perk..
Great video. I am anesthesiologist and I am interested in working in Canada. Could you explain more about the alternate pathway to not repeat residency?
I am a Bangladeshi medical graduate from Ukraine medical university, graduated on July 2023, I didn't do my 12 months internship. I am a fresh medical graduate with zero internship experience. I want to do my one year/12 months internship in Canada and continue. - Can i do my internship without PR? - What are the process to do it?
Hi!!😊 Can you make a video about someone who just finished high school any will immigrate with family to Canada, but wants to study MBBS there. What would be the process? Hoe much it would cost? And is it easier in Canada or UK?
Requirement of Canadian exams depends on what the path you are taking. MRCP has nothing to with this and would be an out of context discussion www.IMGSecrets.com
hello dr. Rajeev i hope you're having a great day i have a question, so what can i do if i find no sponsor notes in the wdoms website but universities in different cities in my country have them ?
Dr. Rajeev, A ton of thanks on the behalf of all the medical graduates from India doctor sahab. We are happy to have a legend guiding us. Peace and Blessings.
Hi Sir , i am IMG , THIS WAS 2ND YEAR i APPLIED IN Ontario's FM program and was not matched even i had interviews last year and this year too , with this years end interation interview went really well with the interviewer saying that 'WE HOPE YOU CHOOSE US " but still did not match. I have graduetaed from a med school in India in 2011 , I have recency of practice as I went to work in INdia for couple of months in 2022 and from Last year I am volunteering in a FM clinic. I even have good scores IN MCQE1 and NAC OSCE and have volunteer experiences in various fields including mental health. Still i am not being matched .Hoping to hear from you
Nameste Dr Rajeev, I am originally from Tamil Nadu and graduated from a prestigious medical institution, the Medical University of Vienna, founded in 1365 as the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna. When I graduated in 2010, I couldn't do a 3-year internship in Austria because of my Indian citizenship. I only had a student visa. The 3-year internship was only for Austrian and EU citizens at that time. So I had to leave Austria for Germany and start my residency in a psychiatric hospital because there was a shortage of doctors. Since then, I have been working in psychiatric hospitals. I did 15 months in neurology. I would like to go to Canada. What should I do?
You could probably explore fellowships. The exact answers can be provided only after i know your whole story. If interested, you can book an appointment at Calendly.com/IMGSecrets to discuss all your options. www.IMGSecrets.com
Thanks a lot Sir. Sir can you please tell me how I can do by pg in cardiology in Canada after finishing my mbbs in India...I havebeen looking for a guide but I found no one..please tell me sir you are the only one who has the entire knowledge of it because you are from the same field 🥲
Hello, Im a neurosurgeon in India, My MBBS and MCh medical college are listed in world directory, but MS which was from private college (Bombay hospital, Mumbai) is not. Im i eligible to apply in canada? PS- your videos are very informative, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to plan for canada.
Thank you, Dr. Pankaj. Yes, you are. Medical College training has to be WHO-recognized. But since you are from a private college, your application should be made really strong!
Good day Dr! I am an IMG from the Philippines and recently, I got an Invitation to Apply in Ontario in OINP due to an increasing demand in healthcare. I would like to ask if I can get a job offer from Canada if ever I get accepted from this program? Thank you!
That's excellent, Dr. Esa! May I ask which stream you are considering for your application? Regardless of the stream, it is crucial to prioritize securing a job opportunity. Many immigrants make the mistake of moving to Canada as Permanent Residents (PR) without securing a job beforehand, and unfortunately, they often face challenges and difficulties in their new life. Therefore, it is highly advisable to ensure that you have a job lined up before making the move to Canada, as it can significantly contribute to your successful settlement and integration into the country. www.IMGSecrets.com
@@IMGSecrets I am from Bangladesh. I am a post graduate doctor here as I have completed FCPS. I wish to move at Canada . Which pathway is better for me ? May I know please!
Thank you for the wonderful video. After Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) PART A and MRCS PART B, do i have chances to get into Canadian residencies ? (surgical speciality) without canadian med exams ?
Hello sir, I am one of the IMG s ( completed Mbbs from India) currently doing postgraduation in internal medicine in the UK with Mrcp half way ( been in UK since 2020). What pathway would you recommend for me as I wish to do my speciality training in Canada?
The ultimate path would depend on your training background & whether you would have a CCT or not. If you need to discuss your options in person, you can book an appointment here at Calendly.com/IMGSecrets
There are so much interest from Indian doctors even with MD/MS and Superspeciality to move to Canada? What is there in such a cold country Canada for Indian doctors (most doctors make decent money in India itself) to dream about?
Dr. Rajeev, Thankyou so much for a comprehensive response. I have one question regarding Job Based Pathway. Im a fresh graduate and currently working as an RMO. What jobs can I Apply for in canada in order to apply for PR or what courses can be done staying in my country in order to get job in Canada. ?

Hello doc! I'm a medical student here in the Philippines and want to practice medicine in Canada. Can I ask how much does it cost of applying for immigration and what are the other expenses to become a doctor there in Canada?
Hello sir that’s was a more informative video Sir I m Indian surgeon with 2 years experience So is there any alternative way for surgery IMG to work without residency Kindly can you elaborate sir
Greetings doctor. May I ask you to kindly provide information regarding volunteering jobs at hospitals for imgs or any 6 months to 1 year internship opportunity in Canada?(like which states might have better opportunities, which type of hospitals, requirements and etc)
All universities have volunteering opportunities & many offer internship to IMGs. The success of getting will depend on your background and what universities are interested in! www.IMGSecrets.com
Hey doctor, thanks for your effort and good explanation🙏🏼 . I have a question, I’m Canadian and I have a MBBS from a college in Saudi Arabia, what pathway I’ll go with? They will consider me as IMG or what?
How much will it cost of applying for residency in Canadian hospital to a fresh IMG? From applying for approval of degree to get residency. Can you make a video on cost for each step?
Hello Rajiv sir. Can you please let me know if as an MD anaesthesia with 10 years post MD experience, how can I migrate to Canada and work there as specialist or consultant anaesthetist or intensivist in any hospital.
I have done a 2 years Diploma In Anesthesia.... and have an experience of almost 4 years afterward.... what options do i have to work in canada/america?
Q1. Can u send a link of the jobs we can I apply for,,,? Q2. What documents are needed to be verified from my country Specifically transcript, internship, medical registration..etc Thanks doc
Dr. Rajeev, Many thanks for your comprehensive and detailed videos. I was wondering - many colleges in different Canadian provinces recognize US residencies as equivalent, allowing IMGs who have matched and completed US residencies to then apply for PR, and begin work in Canada. Not only that, Canadian colleges even recognize some UK specialist training certificates as equivalent, along with a select few countries. I'm wondering if it's possible for Indian graduates to complete lets say, internal medicine training in the US, and then apply for PR, and then work in Canada - this way they would've have to repeat residency training? Wondering what's your thoughts on this.
Dr. Rishab, great question. Yes Indian IMGs can do residency in the USA and work directly in Canada after meeting licensing requirements. Curious why do you want to do that?
Hello Sir. Thanks for the awesome video. I’m a fresh graduate from Bangladesh & just completed my internship. I’m moving to Toronto through a work permit visa. Can you please suggest me, which pathway should be more efficient for me to be a practitioner in Canada? Thanks.
Congratulations on getting a work permit. Your next steps and path would depend on where you are now. You are welcome to book an appointment to speak to one of our experts at www.IMGSecrets.com to receive guidance on how to proceed.
Nothing is easy, but given the right approach candidates stand a chance - strong application with a professional CV and cover letter www.IMGSecrets.com

Hello doctor, i have finished my Mbbs from ukraine recently and i want to move to canada….i am planning to first enroll in MPH program and than start my preparation for medical license in canada. Do you think this is a good idea??
There are pros and cons for this approach. Depends on why you want to do this.. we don’t generally recommend this but we are not aware of you unique situation that may have prompted you to take this step www.IMGSecrets.com
a medical issue since 2013 hisy HBSag is positive while Hepatitis B DNA on pcr is negative and LFT is normal . Would he be medical fit for Job as doctor in canada? Plz confirm .🙏
I don't foresee this as a potential barrier. However, for a more definitive answer, I would recommend reaching out directly to the hospital that is considering hiring you. For further insights, you might also explore www.IMGSecrets.com.
1st step requires how much cost & how we go through that process ?? Is there any video available for other pathways about those exams in details ? Kindly guide me
If I have a Ukrainian diploma of dentistry and 2 years of work experience in Ireland. How can I work in Canada, which path? And what about my wife? She is colonoproctologist with Ukrainian diploma. What is the best way?
The paths for dentistry and medical graduates are very different. For dentist, dental school and for your wife wither fellowship or residency depending on the background www.IMGSecrets.com
/ Thank you for info. Question 1 ; I can see my institute listed in the world directory of medical Schools and Canada as one of the Sponsors. Does that mean that I only have to get "SOURCE VERIFICATION" for my degree from Physiciansapply account and an EQUIVALENCY is NOT required , only source verified would be enough ? Question 2 : You mentioned to simultaneously create express entry profile. But what would we select for our International MBBS degree in the express entry account ? a Bachelors level or Masters level ? because this directly effects points. Thanks for your response.
Highly competitive speciality. Fellowship or research jobs are a good start. If you need our guidance, you can book an appointment at Calendly.com/IMGSecrets

Please Dr, I have a few questions 1)does one have to pass both the mccq and NAC? or either of them? 2)Also to be clear, for an IMG following the traditional pathway, the order would be: Registration-Credentials-Exams-PR-Licence. Right? 3)Can the exams be written outside Canada? 4)Is this traditional pathway gonna allow one start residency straight up?(I graduated 4 years ago, did my internship and have 2years of General practice. Recently commenced Residency in my home country(2 months ago)
Hello sir! We always hear that getting a residency position or even a job as a doctor in Canada is almost impossible for IMGs especially other than Indian and Chinese. How much is it true? I am about to join my wife in Canada we both are doctors graduated from Afghanistan and Russia. Is there any chance for us to get into our profession? Much appreciated
You've got it right! Matching into residency in Canada is undeniably a highly competitive endeavor. However, I must emphasize that I don't want to make any sweeping statements about specific ethnic groups without solid data to support the claims. That said, it's true that there are many IMGs who have successfully matched into residency programs. On the flip side, there are also IMGs who have faced frustration in their journey. To increase your chances of success, it's crucial to take careful steps in building your CV without wasting too much time. This entails working diligently, being persistent in your efforts, and maintaining a hopeful mindset. Remember, there are no guarantees, but by putting in the necessary effort, you can maximize your opportunities for a positive outcome. www.IMGSecrets.com
Good evening Sir. Your video has been a blessing in disguise. ❤ My medical college in India is listed on World medical directory but the problem is it just enlists MBBS and I have pursued MD from it. I am at loss it seems. Kindly guide. Thank you
Hey doc thank you for your video , this explained a lot . I am a student here in canada and my husband recently completed mbbs . What would you suggest that should i call him on Sowp first and then complete all the process . ? Like crdential assessment , mccqe etc
For international medical graduates (IMGs), pursuing a closed work permit in Canada is indeed a recommended option by me. This can allow IMGs to gain valuable work experience, particularly in research positions. Research jobs can provide an opportunity to enhance your credentials and potentially increase your chances of obtaining permanent residency (PR) in Canada. If securing a closed work permit through a research job proves challenging, an alternative approach would be an open work permit. www.IMGSecrets.com

When you mean accepted, if you are referring to working as a consultant, then no! It can work as a clinical experience if you have any www.IMGSecrets.com
Hi sir, i m Dr.soumya from india, currently doing my general practice in clinic for 4years. Can u please advice me regarding what further approach i should make to go to canada for my post graduation and further.
Hello doc. My husband is already done with his residency training in Internal Medicine here in the Philippines. What's the best way for him to get a license? I'm planning to get a student visa in Canada and he will have an open work permit. Hoping for your kind response. Thank you :)
Congratulations. As i have explained in this video, exploring options such as fellowships, repeating residency, or finding a job are potential paths for international medical graduates. Additionally, obtaining a closed work permit under NOC categories that make IMGs eligible for Canadian permanent residency is a strategy worth considering. For personalized assistance, you can visit www.IMGSecrets.com.
Hello Dr, I’m a medical student in Ankara Medipol University. It is recognized by WHO, however there is no such thing as Canada/US recognizing the medical degree provided by the university after the education- in the “Sponsor Notes”. May I ask you how it would effect my immigration process and what you’d recommend me do?
Hi, you must get this fixed to move to USA or Canada to practice medicine. This is fairly straightforward. Your medical school must work with ECFMG in USA and MCC in Canada to obtain a sponsor note. This should not however affect your immigration directly. www.IMGSecrets.com
That's great, you are experienced. You either enter a fellowship and explore other options or repeat residency. The salary depends on many factors but in general is pretty good to have a lifestyle. If you need help on how to approach this, you can explore www.IMGSecrets.com and book an appointment from there. www.IMGSecrets.com
Many thanks for the information. Can you please provide guidance for a GP qualified in UK and planning to move to CANADA as a GP? I am an IMG from Delhi and starting GP training in UK buf plan to shift to Canada in long term. Is there a direct pathway please? Thanking you in anticipation. Best regards
Dr. Deepak, great question, it depends on whether you have a CCT or not! If you have one it would be easy to integrate, if not then you would have to go through like any other IMG. At any time if you feel like you are stuck or confused, you can always reach out to me at www.IMGSecrets.com and book an appointment!
The only comment I have for IMGs that is that securing a Canadian residency position is very difficult unless you have completed a residency in the USA. Otherwise, the chances of matching is at best 30% for primary care and much less for other specializations. Getting permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship is easy but getting a residency to begin a medical career here is nearly impossible and that is why many IMGs are not practicing in Canada.
Indeed, matching into a Canadian residency is an extremely competitive pursuit. However, it's important to note that if you complete your residency in the USA, you don't have to repeat the residency program in Canada. This can be an advantageous route for IMGs. I recommend that IMGs consider moving to Canada on a work permit rather than opting for permanent residency (PR) right away. This approach allows for greater flexibility and avoids potential challenges associated with being unable to secure a residency position. By being on a work permit, you have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience and enhance your chances of successfully matching into a Canadian residency program. Check this video "Get a Canadian Work Permit: Don't Waste Time on PR!" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2npQSMIOpb0.html Remember, each individual's situation is unique, and it's essential to thoroughly research and consider all available options before making any decisions. www.IMGSecrets.com
@@IMGSecrets thanks. Yes, the US residency route is somewhat more attainable and realistic. As a Canadian who studied in an American based medical school in the Caribbean, I did not even consider a Canadian residency program given that The Match (US equivalent to CARMS) is 1) earlier 2) the USMLEs

I wanted to know if i want to work in pharmacovigilance field for pharmacovigilance companies in canada as Drug safety advisor, which is non-clinical field, will it also require Canadian certified degree? For pharma field i have no insights. Expecting for your valuable guidance.
Sorry to hear. Similar process in Canada. CaRMS matching. In general, Canada is typically harder than USA for IMGs due to limited spots www.IMGSecrets.com
Sir, I have completed MBBS from Russia. I wanted to know about - Do i need to have Licence in India to give MCCQE1 ? Please do reply sir. worried about the pathways to choose
I got my ECA, but I graduated soooo long ago, I don't think I can match into any residency program :(, and I haven't found observerships or other practice opportunities to get fresh recommendation letters
Dear Dr. is it not better to do graduation in india and after getting PR then directly do the MD in canada.I think it will save the time and money also.
Dr. Angel, there are skilled jobs IMGs can apply after medical school. By doing so, they gain Canadian experience, which not only enhances their professional growth but also facilitates their progress in subsequent stages of their career. www.IMGSecrets.com

Hello , always thanks for you for videos, I like to listen about the IMG information, I have questions Can I work in Canada as a clinical fellowship and get paid job ?? And the clinical fellowship isn't necessary do the MCCQE1 ?? Take in consideration I will go by the express entry pathway .
Dr. Rana, if you have completed your residency or PG training from your home country, yes you are eligible to apply for a clinical fellowship. No MCC exams required. Once you satisfy the express entry requirements as a fellow, you can apply for one
