How to become a great tech/team lead

Good advice thanks, I recently decided not to take a leadership position as it was too hands off for my liking. What I enjoy is building things, not handing over solutions for others to build. But a lot of what you said here makes sense to me if in the future if I were to go for a team lead. You mentioning you're an extrovert probably explains why I didn't want team lead, I'm very introverted so would rather not have to speak at all most days, so that just doesn't really fit.
