I’m totally changing my career to be an aesthetician. I’ve been a truck driver on and off for 10 years and I’m ready to be a girly girl so I hope all you girls a good luck in your journey of being an aesthetician let’s send out the good vibes
This is wonderful! I’m a fuel truck driver and want to go school to be a facial specialist. I miss being girly too! Plus, it’s a nice way to help others.☺️
i’m 19 & i’m in my 2nd yr of university! i’m currently working towards an associate degree in business administration. i’m still debating if i want to pursue a bachelor's degree but ik fs that i want to be a medical aesthetician. tysm for this video it rlly helped answer my questions :)
this is my dream job actually im a junior in highschool right now so im pretty much preparing for my future and its been kinda hard to find info on how to get started this vid is so helpful im so glad i found ur channel
I graduated from esthetician school years ago. I took the written exam and passed but got cold feet when it came to taking the oral. Here I am years later wanting to get back into it and wanting to become a medical esthetician. ♥️
this video was so so helpful!! i’m currently a college student (and hating every second of it) and i’m wanting to look into getting my esthetician license but more interested in the medical side, how long did it take you to get fully licensed as a medical aesthetician?
I’ve had my cosmetology license since I was 18 but now I’m in college for pre law and I’m 21 now on my 3rd year of college. I really want to look into becoming a medical esthetician but I don’t know what to do😢
I have bachelor degree but is not related with medical at all such as a four year design degree. Curious how to be an aesthetics without get. Nurse degree.
Hi ♥️ thank you! This is super helpful. I'm also a new licensee, coming from a Journalism background. I did admin for a MedSpa I worked for several years ago, and was Sephora's "PERK by Hydrafacial ambassador" (skincare section employee lol). Would you think these are noteworthy to have on a resume if I'm applying to a MedSpa right away? Thank you for this video.
This video is very helpful I finally got my esthetician today from Cyber Credible. Thanks to the comment below tbh it was something I never thought will be possible but Cyber Credible came thru
@@Faithsylva Thanks to the recommendation I followed Cyber Credible made an esthetician license today I'm relief of the stress of getting it done elsewhere
Do you live in the US? You should do a video on medical aesthetics schools around the country💖. I am from Belize and would want to pursue this career after graduating college, and is difficult for me finding the right school.
Only if you like doing more invasive procedures. In CA, you need RN license in order to do laser treatments, microneedling, Botox injections etc. Some states like Texas I believe wouldn't need RN license
It honestly depends. Dermatologist offers love hiring nurses because they have the medical background over estheticians. I would say I personally esthetics school is a great way to gain more skin knowledge. I really respect RN's who go back and get their esthetics license.
Hey love, I would look up esthetics school with a medical background or just see what they offer in their course description. Esthetics schools typically are hard to research, its sometimes best to go in for an interview and ask what they offer!
They are different aesthetician work in medical environment or medpa , under a dermatologist and esthetician typically work in salon environment do wax all those
