i noticed i wasnt confident when i was playing and played awful saying botfrag 1 digit kills whole game but when i was confident i did amazing i talking top frag so i really needed this
Losing a round or a match is a great learning experience. Especially if you watch the replay later and think about what you can do differently when you’re in the same or a similar situation. Then next time you will be more confident because you know what to do
@@dielit300 Even if you don’t know what’s the best strategy in a situation (I for sure don’t), you can still see in the replay how you got killed and go from there. Check that corner next time, don’t be exposed to multiple angles, improve crosshair placement, things like that.
this was my sign, I been realizing that I need to play more ranked because when I play I always end up being extremely nervous. And this video basically just confirmed that. thx sena
I'm generally confident to make plays, but whenever I get into a situation where I get aim diffed and lose almost all of my gunfights, I start to play really scared and give up map control which makes the whole situation even worse as it causes the team to get flanked or pinched, how do I regain confidence in those situations?
Everyone is pretty confident in everything, cuz maybe someone's good in aim, some in game sense, but getting one tapped once or twice a row or just losing to one enemy at all times tilts the mind too much. if suppose I didn't knew that jett already killed me like 10 times, I could prolly easily clutch that round but the tilt overlays the confidence it sucks.
My best days are the days where I play competitive the exact same way I would play unrated. Because at the end of the day, both competitive and unrated have hidden MMR and SBMM, and you're usually getting placed with people of similar skill, so really, all competitive is, is unrated with a little logo next to everyone's name and people are trying harder. I learned from an early age playing traditional sports and now esports that both are much more of a mental game than a physical one. Sure, in basketball for example you need to have some sort of physical ability to pass, dribble, shoot, and play defense; just like in Valorant you have to have some sort of ability to flick, have good crosshair placement, know how and when to peek certain angles, etc. But what happens when you're at a point where everyone knows how to do that, such as when you're on a varsity basketball team or in this case a high rank in Valorant? Then, it's the mental game that separates the metaphorical bench warmers from the starters and number one options. At the end of the day, there are no real stakes, so getting upset just isn't worth it. The only thing frustration and not being confident enough leads to is poor decision making and playing worse overall and of course that just leads to you getting even more upset and continuing the downward mental spiral. The second I start to tilt and stop having fun, I just boot up a new game.
Hey Sena, been watching for a while now and was wondering if you could do a setup tour possibly, either on here or even on the second channel. Much love dude 😊
When I play unrated: 40+ frags every game, Smart player, Very confident on peeking, Becoming IGL because all my strats works, Clutch Master When I play competitive: Too scared to peek, just trying to not die early, being IGL my strats works but i whiff always XD, sometimes bot fragging, Braindead all the time because not confident..... Well no wonder im hardstuck Plat
unrated is trash no one tries in that except for people like you thats the onyl reason you are pulling 40 frags cause no one gaf you compare unrated games to competitive
Never would have thought Sena would give me some Great Life Advice! Great Video Man definitely took some Notes. I Thought of some Video Ideas for you to Consider, Imagine In-Depth Guides to every Map containing Basic Site Executes, Special Angles and Jumps and Jump Spots, I thought it could be a Good Series.
Yeah the best thing to do is play dm and put yourself into harder condition in DM But nowadays in DM everyone hold an angle or camp That's not how you gonna learn the hard situation Because of that in competitive duelist are playing so back and lurking where sentinel or initiator going for entry
Amazing video man! I this may seem like a strange question but I recently started a RU-vid channel and I don’t know how to add music to my videos, I tried putting some songs from my Apple Music onto my video editing software but it won’t seem to work. How to you ass music and songs to your videos?
Only thing I disagree from this video is about the IGL part. I do agree that we should take up IGLing but whenever you don’t have kills in ranked people never listen to you.
I'm sry but you are talking about confidence and relationships and stuff and that if you never been rejected you fear that believe me I have been rejected 10 times by girls it doesn't make it any easier cause I'm scared as fuk that I get rejected again and again and again... my confidence in valo is way higher than asking out a girl
Hey Sena, I’m a big fan of your videos and they help me a lot. But I have one question, is it better to have my player handedness on the left or right?
its a personal preference, or its based on your eye dominance. since i am right eye dominated, i find that having it on the left side is more comfortable and gives me more space on my screen. But its up to you and which one you find helps more.
Bro, Half of the confidence gets destroyed when you are playing against a smurf (which is nowadays 2 in every 3 games) and not getting fps more than 100 😶😶
That might be ego. Confidence is when you believe in yourself but play smart. Ego is when you make bad decisions because you think you're better than everyone.
I like the idea of listening to how other igls comm and strat, but the videos posted by them are just in game communication, there's no actual strats mentioned because teams don't want to reveal them
ok Sena i really need your help. I am a 13 year old ascendant 3 i have deranked from asc 3 to dia 3, 2 times this season already and climbed back to asc 3. I dont care about my rank because i play comp to improve. But how can i break this curse how can i finnaly go to immo 3. Btw great vid. but pls help!!
I think mouse grip is all personal preference. As far as PC setup goes, I have an FPS boost video that goes in depth about my PC settings for Valorant. Hopefully this awnsers your question :)
had a neon in my game today we had to convince to turn on voice chat. super shy - talked like 3 times but goes on to clutch a 1v4😂 What do you think about geckos hands? I hate the brown round things 😂
Sometimes the no-commers are cracked. I think everyone should use their mic, but if they are playing well I don't worry about it too much. I like how his gloves are purple, but the brown circles are kinda weird. Thanks for the comment :)
@@SenaVL I didn't mind especially since she turned voice on to at least hear us. I guess no commers are a bit more cracked on average as they can't win round based off comms. If my aim is shit I could still igl my team to win and 'help out with kills'. I just think it's wasted potential.
