I want to join the industry because nothing has always been something I can stick to but when I heard acting it has never gone out of my mind and it’s something I love and my passion and something I think I am very good at.❤
I’m 12, and just really want to act. My biggest inspiration is just seeing the casts of shows, and movies. They look like they’re having so much fun! I just feel like if I don’t act, I’ll regret it so much, because I definitely have the potential. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I live in a rural Australian town. If I ended up getting a part, I would have to travel somewhere, and stay there for a long time. It really sucks.

Just wanted to say, I've been watching your content for some time and was always on the fence about putting myself out there. Last year I finally took the steps to getting my headshots, I slapped together a voice over reel, wrote a reume based on your tips, and within a week of looking for an agent, I landed on an amazing agency in my city. In the last 4 months of being represented, I've managed to get plenty of auditions and even booked my first commercial (one live and two voice over). This year I'd like to put more effort into acting endeavours. Thanks love
Getting rejection & hearing no is very hard & difficult but it doesn’t stop me feeling keep going. I already done about 6 movies and going to my first movie premiere. I can’t wait for more and what the future holds 🎬♥️

i joined an agency and booked my first acting job back in october all because of your videos !!! i had been passionate about acting for a long time. i had been in plays but i wanted to move in front of a camera and didn't know how. i hadn't even taken any acting classes or anything when i booked that job, but your videos were so helpful !! Rejection is a normal part of life. That's what drives people to prove those, who don't see our value, wrong. Keep trying to prove to yourself and everyone else that you're valuable. If you want it badly enough you'll make it happen and endure all of the rejection. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. As a parent of three under the age of 13, I'm certain your parents will be proud of you regardless.
It’s my absolute DREAM job to be an actress! I’ve been in 3 middle school musicals with 2 leads, but I want to do more. I want to audition for ACTUAL theaters, movies, TV shows, etc. I really hope I can. Thank you so much for being so helpful to me and others!

I've always loved watching my favorite actors in tv shows and movies. I have always known that acting is something I want to do, and your videos helped me get the confidence to just go for it. Have faith, keep persisting, remember to practice, remember that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Consider going to college film school; also remember to stay faithful, keep praying, and never give up :))
I can only say if you mess up don’t be discouraged bc it’s normal to mess up just keep pushing through the audition and that’s gonna make you stand out because casting directors look for people who push through and finish no matter how many mistakes they make

Hey I’m into acting here! And the best advice I can give to someone just starting out is go for those extra opportunities, I have built a decent portfolio over these two past yrs doing extra work and I’m so grateful. I have had exposure to the film industry and being in front of cameras as well as meeting actors. Now I feel more prepared than ever to apply for and acting agency, I can’t wait!!!😍😍 for reference I’m in the UK and I have done work with, sky sports, Top boy and I recently did a prank show on Nella Roses tapped out.❤❤❤

Great video!!! One of the main reasons why I keep thinking that I could never be an actor is for two reasons: 1. I love my family way too much to not see them that often. 2. I don't think I could take the fame and everything that would be expected of me. I just wish I could act in movies and not have to deal with all the other stuff like the interviews and signings and fans finding me everywhere etc. I'm such an introvert lol😭

Ur videos have helped me so much, I’ve been wanting to be in the filming industry since I was around 5 years old, I was never allowed to audition, since I was getting older I started to beg my parents weekly and the daily, a few months ago I could do my first audition with self-tape, I made around 5 and my parents said they were going to send them to them, a few weeks later I asked if they have heard anything from them, they said ‘no’, than I asked my mother if she was sure she send them in correctly, turns out they didn’t even send them, I was devastated. After that people started telling me, I was too shy and that my parents did it so I wouldn’t embarrass my self and they also just don’t want me to be online, which I get (kinda) I don’t wanna throw my dream away, the closes thing I can get to being an actress is my acting classes, I’ve been enjoying them so much but realizing I’m never going to be able to ‘upgrade’ them is just idk disappointing. So… idk what to do?

@@gabrielaaus you can’t audition for Percy Jackson unless your under an agency sadly Rick said he won’t cast unless you have past acting experience and with an agency but if you still want to audition you can always search up agency’s near where you live and email them and send in a self tape of you reading sides and hopefully 🤞 if or when they contact you about your audition and they agree to work with you, you can talk to them about the Percy Jackson series (not all agencies answer quickly and can sometime take up to months to respond so patience is key and don’t give up😊😊)

I remember starting acting when I was 7 and now I’m 12, I have tried for many shows and movies and almost got in, I learned how to break down a script because of your videos! I feel like I’ve gotten better by understanding how to break down the script, I used to just do acting for fun but when one of my dads friends invited me to watch how everything works back stage at it helped me a lot and helped me understand what acting actually is and it made me more passionate
I've honestly wanted to become an actor for basically my whole life. My mom used to tell me that when my brother and I were little little we would sing every song from Le Mis all the time and perform around the house. I always loved film and analyzing scenes and actors' performances. I never really knew how to put into words (to my parents at least ) my desire to become an actor. It really hit home for me when I went to watch my friend Tori in high school in the play Into the Woods. I knew then and there that yes this is what I want to do. Unfortunately, I didn't tell my parents that as they already "had my career in mind." I'm now having what you could say is a quarter life crisis, wishing I would've pursued acting as a career. I still want to, but I just don't know where to start (thanks for this video by the way it really helps); and I'm worried that I'm too old to just be starting now. I wish everyone the very best on their journey and I hope that we can all be proud of our efforts!

I am 17 years old and have been wanting to get into acting for a while now. They do not offer drama or anything like that at my school which is inconvenient, but where I am there are acting classes in the next big city. I do not come from a super wealthy family which also makes it hard. To all of those wanting to do the same as me keep your head up!!
