A very good initiative here by CanCast team and Khushi to educate aspiring pilot but as an Indian who moved to Canada for pilot training and currently working as a professional pilot, I would like to mention a few things that might help here: i) Unfortunately there are so many crooks/agents back in India who don't even know what they are talking about. To all the aspiring pilots out there just do your own diligence. This process is as simple as making a social media account which you can do yourself if you do your own research. ii) No offence here but one of the statements that Khushi made here about wanting to train in India because it will be faster and you won't need to fly a Cessna in the future. Well, Cessna is an amazing aircraft and it is so very important to have your basics built up right. I have worked in General Aviation here in Canada for a long time and I have loved every part of it. Working towards excellence should be the goal and success will follow. iii) Aviation is an expensive field and a far-fetched dream for a lot of people with limited resources but very rewarding as well if you manage to accomplish what you have aimed for.
well explained Faizan bhai but what is your opinion about salary packages for pilots in canada. Are the salary packages really low as told in the video?
Hi mam if so possible please share the details of your daughters road map towards Canada this will help to avoid some forged agency ... Please help me out in this
I was looking for this type of video.I was thinking there would be alot money in this career but video changed my perspective & my motivation is down to earth now 😂
Thanks for all the info. Can you please share info about what salary range is in Canada after 2 or 3 years of experience and for pilot jobs do they only look for Canadian Citizenship holders? I do have savings for pilot training and I am Canadian PR. I am well settled in other profession but wanted to pursue pilot as a career. I am in IT career and now I feel I need a change of career and pilot was my childhood dream as well as this is not a remote job like IT.
Don't spreads fakes. No pilot jobs in Canada at all. Many aspirants think they can do cpl and Instructor rating and work as a instructor after gaining experience they enter Canadian airlines in reality it's only a dream. Even you can't get Hired as a instructor now days. Canada is really bad idea for the people planning for their flight training.
How do you know that ? It’s different for everybody. If it didn’t work with you that doesn’t mean it won’t with someone else . In fact , Canada have a massive shortage of pilots
you can come in contract based I guess.. but not a permanent job... email air india or any other indian carrier with your profile... they will guide you better
Money is definitely a requirement but effort and time management can't be done by everyone at the level required . After training, you will not have much of a life outside work. Just work, exercise, eat, and sleep. You'll miss holidays, family events, etc
