Transition offense: 1. We want layups and catch and shoot 3’s Live ball turnovers: first five steps by guys without the basketball will determine if you’re going to score. Spacing / we have to balance the floor within the first five steps fill corners and wings. Pull the help defender to you Advantage situation- 5v4 We need a good shot. Fill tim, corner and weakside wing. Never have 3 wings on the same side. Fast break 5v5- first get the ball to outlet, advance with the pass through the air, and having good spacing, if no wide open layup get yo the corners to pull the defense out. Pull the defender from the rim
Personnel is a key factor. If you have a post player who isn’t a shooter, he/she should always run to the rim (if they don’t take the ball out of bounds on a make first). For everyone else, it’s about feel. I tell our wings/guards, if you look ahead and you have a layup, always run for the layup. If you see the layup isn’t there because of defense, sprint corner.
Yo, I plan on playing next year my senior year, I understand how to play 1 on 1, 2 on 2a and 3s but I've never played 5 on 5 basketball neither pick up or a high school game, I don't understand like certain terminology or how to move on the court, or certain screens, any tips on how to start? Because although I cook everyone in the park I assume a real basketball game is much different you know
I feel like youre only posting for the money now since you got sponsors, videos arent as insightful as before i understand youre pushing 40 and have wife and kids but cmon bro
I'm not sure what you mean I either. I would've liked a video of the Euroleague or nba playoffs breaking down offensive and defensive sets and adjustments instead of just a recap but I did like this video
@@derrick5380 hey, I only have so much time to make content & I wanted to cover the Euroleague playoffs for people who don’t subscribe to their platform and can watch the games. I will do more breakdowns and teaching once the season is over. They were playing games every other day for a stretch which is difficult to do breakdowns for every game.
