I think of it like this, The unawareness, creates enough pain via individual and society, and that pain pushes a small few to become aware. Then they can go out and help others. I think the universe works in purposeful ways. We have built a lot in society, yet also lost a lot and created a lot of pain. So maybe this is the way the universe manifests great technological innovation, while also pushing us towards awareness via the pain it causes at the same time. And maybe then, one day, there will be a shift where we can have everything we could ever want, and be free, happy, and peaceful at the same time.

He never answers any question directly.. But there's an answer in what he speaks. He's talking about enslavement here.. so he's hinting at not being a slave.. be conscious. And not being aware of the dinasaur simply means become aware of the things you don't see but can exist. Look beyond what you're able to experience.
He is doing nothing but that. To realize the truth only the false must be discarded, the truth is there all along. You don't need a practice to be aware, you are already aware, simply discover and discard your patterns of unawareness. That's all.
Yes because you’re already aware aren’t you? What is there to become? Don’t believe anything the mind tells you. Awareness/consciousness is the one true reality. The mind convinces you it’s every thought is true and then you become enslaved to it like he said.
