Instead of feeding the squirrel something healthy for it, you give it processed junk food instead of nuts and fruit... Their bodies do NOT digest the crap we eat well and causes health issues for them (just so you know). He/she is your little squirrel friend, so take care of it by feeding it healthy food (Nuts, Fruit and small birds. Not sure if all squirrel species eat birds but the ones where I live dooo) so it lives a long time hopefully!!! Congrats on making an amazing little squirrel 🐿️ buddy!!!

One day I found a squirrel and walked up to it and it took a peanut out of my hand. 3 days later when I looked out my window I saw he invited some buddies and they all waited on my porch for food. Long story short I feed about 7 squirrels now.
I'm sure you either learned or heard this by now...but I heard that they can choke on bread (as I gave them bread and only later looked up about it ) and read it's better to toast the bread otherwise it's a choking hazzard somehow. 🤷 But I think it's wonderful you are taking care of God's creatures. I love your video and I hope I can make as much progress as you with my squirrels.
Taking care of God’s creatures? Insects and worms and even bacteria are also God’s creatures then. You can feed tons of bacteria by composting all kinds of food. Is that also wonderful? Maybe less cute?

Just out of curiosity, if you didn't have the same cookie you'd been giving them everyday for a week or so, would the smell of a different treat cause them reject it? Knowing animals like to adhere to a pattern I was just wondering what would happen.
Good question! I guess you can try out different treats and see which ones they like. Animals are smart. This squirrel branched out to other treats eventually 🙂

Any squirrel can do it. It just takes alot of time and patience. The older ones are alot quicker to notice what your trying to do but are still cautious. This squirrel definitely has been around for awhile.
Same here lol. I've got 3 living in a pine tree behind my house, and I've been feeding them for about a month. When I try to get close they haul ass up the tree.
@@Rudy_86 yeah man, I have seen many videos on how to befriend or tame a squirrel not none them help, I think I'm gonna stop feeding it, I was feeding it with hope that someday I will tame it but no luck
Squirrels are the most beautiful and sensitive creature i ever seen. Thats why i love your channel. One squirrel made nest in my room and given three beautiful baby. I am raising them but my squirrels are Indian Palm Squirrel : small but Artistic. 😄

Ok I have no idea how you managed to make this squirrel trust you on day 1, I open the window like that when local squirrel is around, that squirrel will break the light speed barrier
I have 2 that visit me on my deck, I have one that will get within a foot of my hand but he won't take the peanut yet, we been at it for almost two weeks multiple times a day. They come running when I call them
