This is an amazing guide you've made, thank you very much! I haven't seen something so easy to understand, digestible, yet with the right amount of information for me to learn comfortably. Great job!!
These abuse of game mechanics remind me of Chivalry's. These tactics raise the skill ceiling but look and feel rather unfair to fight against. Nonetheles theyre valid tactics and make weapon classes like UGS viable against skilled players
Instructions unclear, my controller is now able to power a nuclear power plant just from the thermal heat radiating from the analog sticks after attempting to spin my character at 433 rotations per millisecond and my thumbs have been stripped down to the bone (Really great video though, the editing is 👌)
@@Dosntmattrshuyeah but he is right. There is zero reason to play like this unless you're a content creator or it's a fcking tournament with money on the line. Why do you want to win so badly that you destroy your own fingers and exhaust your brain. Nobody is there to watch you and be proud of it anyway.
From my experience, if you want better results on pvp instead of focusing on fancy movement, focus on fundamentals like spacing and understanding the core mechanics of the game such as poise breakpoints, poise reseting and hyper armor. Cool video tho
My problem with Elden Ring pvp was that unlike other arena fighters, most attacks are reactable so it was pretty difficult to apply actual mixups and setups. Always felt something's missing and it was proper movement.
All bosses having super armor in pve, all players in pvp having seizures while trying to replicate the Korean backdash. Yep, a certified bandai namco moment
Thanks a lottttt for this video🙏 ,i have asked so many people but your video is the most detailed version of i have seen ,can you make a pvp focused video of other mechanics as well like one were you move in circle(left to right i think) when someone is attacking and it can escape the attack🙏
My issue with doing nekospins is I mess it up and often do a running attack. You drop all your inputs before pressing r1 right? Or am I missing something.
Hey man great showcase of your tech, do you use any specific control scheme or just the default. Ive been trying out other stuff because i find crouch on r3 not viable 😅 ive been using roll on L1 and its surprisingly decent and crouch on circle
Fantastic work! Thankee so kindly for providing such an informative video! I'm so happy that it was in my feed of recommendations! Inrcredible work! I've not done the Neko Spin much, but I will try to implement it more in my gameplay! Thank you! ❤
@@Kraven240how is dumbing the game down to its simplest movements, with no consideration for the handful of weird-looking moves that actually take some practice to execute properly, any more fun to you? Also, who’s stopping you from whipping out something else from your inventory in response to the great bow? The menus stay unlocked for the most part during a fight, you and everyone else are free to use them. Hard swapping has been slowly elevated with every fromsoft game, where menus are designed to make swapping as easy as possible. Refusing to engage with a small chunk of the game, but crying foul when other players do, is disingenuous at least.
i wish i could force myself to do this but it just looks goofy and i put looking cool before optimal strategy lmao. Oh well, guess I'll keep losing lol.
it doesn’t make ugs cr1 unreactble btw since ugs attack is a poke and start up is noticable different from the movement(same goes to shunter from my expirience)
its y i said near unreactable, from my experiance i can roll psgs p consistently b4 the nerf of 1.12 but i couldnt roll sum ppl's ugs which used an assortment of advanced movement techs including ugs. in short it makes it way harder to react to imo
Asension… I figured i woud find you hear in some tryhard coment section, you shitter…. I am going to hack into your psn account so that real pvpers like stealofsky dont have to deal with you spamming poo slash… shitter. Why even lern tryhard moves if your just gonna spam poo slash🤣🤣🤣🤣 And of corse your boyfriend is hear too… i dc to him all the time to stop him from getting lag switch win🤣🤣🤣🤣🦍
you need an analog stick to do the spinny stuff, your movement on kbm is gonna look worse than if on controller but the spinny stuff is not @ all needed for any faculty of being good @ this game
People will create tech like this then complain 3 months later when this tech is common and the PvP playerbase drops off dramatically and the only people you fight are people who are doing the exact same thing you are. Do what you want I don’t care but don’t come crying when the only people you fight are just as good are you are because the skill ceiling you created is too high for new players to even begin to approach.
Thx bro cab you do a vid about spacing? All the other content creators vids havent quite made me understand the jittery movement i see when they're spacing itd be awesome to better understand
Very nice guide, I am definitly gonna practice some of these. Can you elaborate the Stutter-stepping? I didn't understand how to perform with the nekospin
