That was fantastic... As you may or may not remember, your channel (and story) is a favorite of mine Kevin and it was very cool watching a collaboration with one of my other favorite channels. You guys both do it right, so just a genuine thanks to you both. Cheers fellas.
I've never seen Mike this excited EVER! He was like a schoolboy on a camp trip! Running, jumping, those cute blue boots!!! Thanks, Kevin for bringing out the boy of this father!
This was great. I am a prepper and solid gardens with variety and your own critters is prepping, it's just not 'the sky is falling ' prepping. 3 sisters, canning, fermentation, self sustainment, that's what it's really about. There's accomplishment and security in having a direct tie between your hard work and nourishing those you love so you're all here as long as you can be. Glad to see this collab and absolutely jealous of this garden.
2 of my fave gardeners everrrrrr!! But Mike, this is my 1st time seeing the full garden & I'm just amazed! It's beautiful & loved the wood chip area. And always admired your storage area. Thanks for sharing
I was just watching the video yesterday where he explained the phases of his journey - the YuNork, MTV, Brothers Green, Pro Home Cooks and all that - until the shift to Life by MikeG. I was thinking, yeah that makes sense. I actually love it when he gets out of the kitchen to get eggs and veggies, or when he shows that pile of wood. Just garden things. He'll be able to do more of that in Life by MikeG. It's like an expansion of his original rooftop garden. Difference is, he sounds less stoned now haha. Anyways, I love this guy, and it's great watching him evolve and progress, and learning a lot of stuff from him in the process. Love love from the Philippines. 😍
Its interesting how different tangents lead you into understanding how manipulated we have been and how we really need aspects of self sufficiency where we can.
Awesome video, thank you! Love your content, been a long time subscriber and I've never been more excited about your channel than now. Please please go more in depth on each of these areas you showed, we need more details!I really want to learn more of your style and techniques.
Deer can clear 10ft tall fences if they are Really hungry. 8 ft will usually keep them out though. If you can do 10 go 10. Another thing to know is that Deer wont jump over anything they can see the landing, so if you can have non see through fences, that's ideal.
The garden is beautiful and has a variety of vegetables. I love gardening. It helps me reduce stress and relax. Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures with everyone.
Wow this is super Two of my favorite utubers! I love this. I am a gardener in the highlands of Mexico and a retired chef I love the info you guys put out have learned so much. I really wood love to see more like this. Gardening without planning for the end result just doesn’t make sense you end up overwhelmed by both the garden and the putting up what you grew,
My heart is so so happy!! I’m so tired and sleepy (I really should be sleeping already), but yet I smiled throughout this entire video… hehehe love you both and your content! Looking forward to more collabs!!
Thanks for doing this Mike... Was fun and inspiring to see your garden in full and was especially cool that you did it with another of my favorite content creators (Kevin). You guys both do it right and the YT audience is lucky to have the likes of you two. Cheers!
I've been following you both separately for years. (You were both pretty new at it and in your small places when I first found you.) I really loved this. More please.
I am sitting here with a silly grin watching the two of you! Two of my favorite youtube favs! What a great collab, I say the next video is of Mike at Kevin's place!
I really enjoyed seeing your garden. I watch many of your cooking videos. I am glad to see you sharing more of how you get to the kitchen with beautiful produce. I'm excited to see how Life with Mike G develops. Thank you for your content.
Love the video. It was nice to see you tour your garden with a friend just enjoying and sharing your outlooks and reviewing some great lessons learned. I could have watched that same style for an hour. Thanks
Thank you, great video! Needed to see to become re-motivated to continue gardening. 2023, I was too ill to do very much well with the garden. This year, 2024, new challenges… no longer live right next to the garden and have to ford a river 4 times a week(bridge now inaccessible due to federal railroad rules)to maintain it, with varying degrees of success. Very much looking forward to living next to my garden in the near future 🌱 🤞🏿 💚 !
