I already use these tips as a solo player myself. Since I'm on EU server it's hard to find a English speaking team to play with. And the off chance I do find a team they end up not regretting in adding me to their squad, I have myself to thank since I've been training in solos for months

be a flanker when you are playing solo. it always works when it's 1vs 3 or more if you successfully flank your enemies without getting spotted, they're usually done one advantage of playing solo is that you will always be able to outplay teams with tactics

3 days ago i managed to down a 2 man squad alone with all my team dead, the weapon im using is just a full atomatic from an ai enemy and Aint that strong. But the element of surprise really do INDEED work. In the hotel on northridge, i was looting on the main hall when i heard the ai enemies get taken down with a sound of a supressed weapon. So i hid behind the staircase, i just aimed my weapon, and opened fire on any part of the enemies body since severe damages on anypart of the body is enough to kill/down an operator, and did the same on his next teammate as soon as he went for the res.

Truth about the armor. I started wearing armor that covers my chest and whole abdomen area at minimum. You can last a lot longer in ab time in a gunfight. Wore 926 composite t5 for the last time. Got killed by m885 556 with the explanation "sometimes lower tier ammo has a small chance of penetrating stronger armor" 👁️ 👄 👁️ I know rng, but it wouldnt happen with any other vest😂

I kinda conflicted with your playstyle, maybe you should do a light gear guide (i.e below 30kg and using light armor). I prefer to be agile so that i can reposition or rush the target or just flank them. Although i agree with your point, if i had 4 or 5 broken limbs i would need to sit there fixing my limbs for 1 minute straight and heavy armor can negate 3 parts of your body to be broken (arms and abdomen). The thing is on light armor set all you need was skill (which is why i only have 37% extract rate, although doing zero to hero run can be blamed to that or because of mission, doing evita mission on asian server are nightmare, the player are on another level). And also your map knowledge, tactics, and knowing on how to spot a single pixel change from far away (i.e spotting the target first before they spot you).

I may rarely play solo but if I play solo I alway use some freaking cheap set like T3 armor with sks with silencer and kill someone from like 150m away (I know being rat or sniper is bad but being sniper really help me kill other players due to I don’t think fast enough and easily panic and sometimes I get too greedy)

The thing i hate about this game is youre pretty much forced to fight teams, in tarkov teaming up is still dangerous because you need constant communication or else youre gonna kill your mates. Theres no downsides to teaming up in AB besides loot goblin teammates. Unfortunately i get paired with people that have no game sense and dont bring good gear even in lockdown Permanent duo mode would be great
