How to bedlog | Star Citizen 3.23 

ANOTHER WAY! In waiting for the floaty menu, if it doesn't come up (like in my Prospector) find that same hot spot and RIGHT CLICK to force that option wheel to come up! Then you can choose log out the same way!

I bed-logged in my 315P on a hill outside of Rappel and when I logged back in, I was in the center of the sun. Luckily, the center of the sun is not actually the center of a sun, just normal space. Can't see it until you fly out.

Haven't tried this yet in 3.23 but I'm very thankful for your tip as for sure I wouldn't have found this change the next time I tried. Nicely done in 3mins 23s - nice touch :D

when u find that button just right click it to bring up the alternate options. No need to wait for the hover.

No freaking way! I thought bed logging was disabled until server meshing. Glad its still in cause i use it all the time when mining.

The most annoying bed in this patch is on the cutlass. It has two "get up" boxes, and the one you need for the bed log option is hid in the bottom left corner.

It sometimes works but sometimes there is just no menu or the "log out" option is just missing. I have not figuered out why it sometimes works and sometimes not but it will be fixed soon for sure.

One thing I heard was if the F simbol has dots above it there's other options when you click.

Thank you for this video. I have tried a few times to bedlog since 3.23 to no success. I am always in a hurry when I do so haven't taken the time to search more but I will try later to bedlog using what I learned in this video. For me the floaty menu never arrived, but I was probably not being patient enough as I saw it took some time and moving of the mouse in your video. Maybe though it is better with the update that came out last night

If you hover over any object with f and right click it will bring up the wheel, also useful in reclaimer cargo elevator when choosing a floor. Ive been bed logging since 3.11 though it wasnt reliable til 3.13 and after that I rarely have issues, and none in 3.23. Cant wait to live aboard the crown jewel of my fleet the BMM

Look at the side not attached to the wall, hold F, move mouse around and you have the menu. works everytime for me! hope it works for you to!

Today saw your bedlog fix. I have a vulture and did exactly what you did. The log out does not appear on the wheel. Have they removed it in the last 7 days??

1 change to make this ALL better. Have the 'F' button appear in the same place everytime, no matter what bed you get into. It should be front and center, as if on a helmet HUD. The rest is easy, just looking for the damned button is the real annoying bit (and confusing for newbs).

dose anyone happen to know what to do if the log out button never shows up on the scroll wheel?

I really wish they'd cut out the middleman and just have a lie down and log out option so that you just lie down and log out instead of having to each step individually especially with how wonky everything is right now

for me i get only sit option in my cutllass black, if i go bottom bed upper i can lay down but it wont gave me log out bottom one just sit bug? also cig lets complicate laying in beds fun detected

Can't you also go to the PIT menu and go to Actions for Bed? Right now, though, i can't bed log... Are there new rules around where/when you're allowed to?

But do you end up logging back in your bed on the ship? Last time I tried it before the patch dropped, I ended up in the last station I had been at.

Right click on "F" to bring up interation menu. Holding F also worked in the PTU but I have not tested it in live yet.

the logout option is on my wheel but its completely greyed out and i cant select it, whats up with that?

Some beds simply don't have the log out option after lying down. It used to be, if the log out option didn't appear, you could make it appear by moving the mouse while holding F to highlight a different part of the bed, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. The bed will either give you the log out option or it won't after you've lied down and opened the floaty menu. My 400i, the Captain's bed never works, and between the two beds in the crew cabin, only the aft one allows me to bed log. So only one bed out of three can bed log in my 400i. Kinda rubs me raw that I, as the Captain of my ship, must sleep in the bed of a peasant. But at least I got _one_ bed workin! 😛

I tried logging out in my Taurus and for some reason the option never appeared but now I know why. Thanks!

Sadly doesn’t work on every ship. I cannot log out on my SRV or my Vulture

I figured this out fairly quickly. I want to say I right clicked on the floating F icon to ge the wheel, but I will need to double check that.

Thank you for making an unnecessarily complicated change that didn't need to be made, less annoying... also... a lot of the new u.i. stuff is GREATLY UNNECESSARY!

This is so frustrating! I wasn't able to get this working in a Valkyrie whatsoever. Another thing that worked and CiG completely broke.

Can't get bedlog to work in any of my ships. It worked for me in EPTU, but on live, no go.

not sure if this is useful or not, though anytime the F icon has the 3 dots, that means hold F for the wheel, i find this to work 99% of the time and never having to click the F icon

Right click again on the floaty F while laying down, the menu will immediately appear to log out

I struggled with this for ages and even when I found this trick it was still impossible to do this on the Aurora because the Floaty F can't be found. I honestly don't know why they have to make it so hard or change a mechanic that worked fine for years. Instead of tweaking the UI and messing with things that had been worked fine I wish they'd just finish the game.

Hey Scrapjet, after laying down, use your mouse to look around and face the floaty F, it will be on the side you get out of bed on, once facing it, just hold F like you did to get into the bed and use the wheel to select Log Out.. Doesn't take long at all.

You can right click on the F menu, on anything, and it should give you all the options available without having to wait for the menu to show up on its own.

Yeah or just _hold_ F when you're lying down - that'll get the menu up as well - although it is tricky trying to find that floaty 'F'

I can log out... but logging back in... have yet to be able to get out of the bed. No matter what I do, emergency exit button, Alt F, looking for the floaty F.... it's just not there. Bed logging just not worth it if it can be avoided.

Would have been less confusing if they marked the [...F] with "Bed" (the name of the underlying options menu) instead of "Get up" (the name of the first option in said menu)...

Ha ha. I put in a bug report on bed logging because of the change. I know a way they can make it super simple... After you lay down, hit escape on your keyboard and log out. Why over complicate like they do? 😂

I hate seeing these 'F's everywhere they get in the way of existing UI elements and stop them from working when you need them the most. I can't wait for the toggle to arrive.

I haven't played in months, I blew up landing my ship, and then I blew up leaving a hangar. For all the improvements they made, it's still as unplayable as ever.

i think you can just hold f till menu shoes. or maybe doble click (don't remember)

Thats so stupid. It should just be if you're lying down in a bed you can log out from hitting escape.
