Thanks very much! I know what you mean...if my hair isn't detangled well enough, or if my ends needs to be trimmed, then my hair will react the same way. 😄
Heyyy!! That is *REALLY* a nice thing to say, it means a lot. 😊 I truly appreciate you for the support in the comments. I easily recognize usernames, and remember them cause I don't want to forget kind words from people, like you! I'm grateful that you like my content...I just kinda do it for fun. 😁 Thanks, again! 💕🌺💜
I've been looking for a good pattern to use for my daughter's hair when she wears crochets. You're pattern looks amazingly easy to follow. I will definitely try be trying this method for her next set of braids. Thank you! Definitely subscribing! 🥰😊
Thank you Sehvynn! I successfully braided my hair in this pattern for crochet braids. I'm left handed so it didn't turn out the same but you're tutorial was easy to follow.
Ahwww😊💜 Thank you so much for letting me know! (Your comment just made me smile).😀 I'm really glad I could help. If you'd like to see any other patterns, let me know and I'll try my best to share a video about it. And you are very welcome, Marilyn! 😊💞
Hello! If it would take 10 hours, that's super okay, as long as you're satisfied. ( 😀 ) But hey, we don't want any hair missing, so yeah, let's go ahead and hire someone, instead. lol. Thanks so much for the compliment!
Hi Jasmine! I really, really appreciate you for taking time out of your day to let me know. It means a lot to read your positive feedback. Thanks very much for the nice complimenst! 😘💜💜
Hey, hey!! Nothing beats a nicely moisturized foundation when it's safely put away on 'haircation' and maintained underneath those extensions and wigs. Wigs are sooo handy!! It definitely does aid in that length. Thanks for leaving a comment again, Leah! 💕
I believe that this technique of braiding does grow your hair like crazy I remember I use to do this and my my I tell you my hair grew alot I never expected that
HEY!! Thank you sooo much! Time passes so fast. This video was over 5 years ago. Hopefully one day, I can do an update beehive. Thanks again for your nice comment. 💜
Im halfway into this braid pattern and let me tell you im living it. Usually by the 5th braid i know whether or not it will work and this is perfect. Love it.
This pattern is a dream for protective styles. I wonder if it looks natural if you do braid extensions or spring twists. If it does I'll do it as my main hairstyle.Thank you for the quality of your videos
Hello Fafa, I’ve never tried those styles on the beehive, but I’m sure if you space out the extensions on the pattern, so that it’s not too bulky, then the style should look very natural. I think the technique and the extensions have a lot to do with how natural the final result is, not so much the pattern. Thank you for your nice comment, I appreciate it. 💜
Thank you for making this video! It was detailed and easy to follow! I always wanted to do a beehive but felt that it would be too difficult or impossible for me to achieve. Your friendly step by step tutorial made it EASY! I still need more practice but the first time for me turned out nicely. So glad that I found your channel. Thank you, again!
Hey, Hey! THANK YOU for letting me know...I really appreciate your compliments...and I'm grateful to be able to help! It's good to know yours turned out nicely! You are very welcome! 💗💜
Ha, Ha! 🤣 I literally just use my fingers as a guide when I part. I don't usually look in the mirror while parting most of the time, but I always look in the mirror after I'm done parting to make sure it's kind of straight. 💜Thanks for watching! :)
Very easy to follow, clear, and precise. I was searching RU-vid to learn how to do a beehive on my daughter's hair and this is perfect. Thank you very much for posting!
Hey Sakinah! I'm happy to read your comment, thanks for letting me know! You are very welcome, I'm grateful to be able to share anything that helps! 💜💜
This was the video that I needed! I thought I was a big loser because I couldn't braid in a completely circular pattern, never realizing there are breaks in another's circular pattern.
Thank you for your comment! There are so many ways to do a circular pattern; some are without breaks, some are with breaks, like shown here. So, you’re not a loser for thinking such. 😄 Thank you for your comment. 😊

I thought I was highly detail-oriented, but YOU noticed something that I didn't..the 'B'. I said oh goodness, it sure is, I didn't even recognize that! 🤔🤓 Lol *THANK YOU* very, very much for such a sweet comment, I really do appreciate that. I'll gratefully receive the blessing...Amen☺ Take care, with your lil' 'paying close attention to detail' self. 😂😍😘💜💜🌹
Thanks so much for letting me know! At first I was like, 'okay, you're being too detailed'...but then I was like, well this *IS* a beginner friendly, start to finish tutorial. LOL! So thanks for letting me know it was easy to follow, that was my goal! 😁💖
You're a hair genuis. I'm unfollowing all the other hair youtubers. I do my own hair immaculately but you.... ha. Girl you are really good and I've learnt from you today. Thank you so much. Xxx
Great job! I was thinking about this following idea: if you can't (or don't want to) use thread, you can crochet the rest of the braids underneath your conrows :) Hope that I'm clear :)
+Barbara L. Hello!!! Yup, you are absolutely right. I meant to put that in text as a side note in the video, but forgot to. So thanks very much for adding that here! I didn't go that route though, because I'm not a huge fan of that crochet needle- from a past experience. Lol! Thanks, again! 😁💕
Sehvynn Minnits to Party Thanks a lot for your answer! You're welcome, I'm glad I help :) It's okay I totally understand, for me crochet is easier than threading :)
+Lisa Pierce Hi Lisa! This pattern is for all hair types! 😀 Are you asking if I can share a crochet style using this pattern?, or are you asking if crochet styles can be done using this pattern? Thanks very much for the compliment! 💕💜
Hello! I have an 'Old Braids Takedown' video on my channel. It doesn't show step by step how I take the beehive braids down, but it shows what I do after the braids. I basically just unravel the braids with my fingers-- no comb or any other tool. With my beehive braids, I only wear wigs. With that said, I don't have to cut loose wefts or crochet hair, so for me, the takedown isn't too bothersome. Thanks so much for your compliment. 💜💜
Do you think this method of the braid pattern would look good with crochet passion twist and it braids? I really like how flat it is. I always have the problem of having a lot of bulk in the back with crochet.
Hi! 💜 This beehive braid pattern would most definitely look good with crochet/passion twist because the pattern is circular and flat. I think a beehive could help you to not install too much crochet hair because of its circular pattern. A beehive gives a 'map' or guide of where to place the hair when you're moving left to right; whereas with vertical, straight back braids, there's not much of a guide (I REALLY hope that makes sense). Most times, the size of the braids is what cause the bulkiness. If my intention is to wear extensions/wigs on top of cornrow braids, I always make sure the braid pattern is about the size of the braids in this video. If I have big braids, especially near the part space at the front, then my extensions/wig won't lay flat. Of all patterns I've done, beehives are my favorite.:) I hope this answer helps. Thanks for watching.
+Jason Roman-Deleon Hello..that would be something I would have to practice on. So possibly in the future, I will try to post one. . Thanks for asking. 👍
Hello! To get the parts to look straight, I like using the end of a rat tail comb because that metal on those combs really gives great parting. A long time ago, I would use a regular comb, but there is a HUGE difference in the way the end of a tail comb parts, compared to a regular small toothed comb. I also like to use my hands as a guide when I part. After that, I look in the mirror to see how it looks. If it's not straight, I re-do it. But your fingers can definitely guide you to a straighter, cleaner part; even in the back. :-) i hope this helps in some way. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
